radiocooke
I prefer to play more zoomed out than the default, so every time I login the first thing I do is zoom out so that I see all of the character and have a larger area of view. The zoom level will persist if I exit to the login screen, but not if I fully exit the game. Is there a setting somewhere that I can change so that the zoom level will persist always? thanks. Not that I've ever been aware of. I've always used this bind to set the distance when I first log in or if I accidentally bump the scroll wheel on the mouse. /bind END "camdist 25" that changes the END key from its default 'zoomout' to a set camera distance, 25 in this case. You can change the distance or the key you bind it to whatever suits you. Personally, I add it to the bindfile for each of my characters so I always know where it is. BlackSpectre
@LKN-351's suggestion above is a great idea. I do basically the same thing. However, if you really want it to be persistent, then you can add the "-camdist 25" command to the Extra Launch Parameters box in the Homecoming Launcher (Settings--> Homecoming). That way the view distance will be set at log in. There are other camera view commands that might prove useful to you. The launch parameter list at the wiki has all of the known command line parameters, but there are probably many slash commands that can also be used as launch parameters that no one knows about yet. https://homecoming.wiki/wiki/List_of_Command_Line_Parameters 2 1 Black Spectre - A Dark Defender's Home on the Web • The Advanced Bind Guide • The Masters of BAF: A Guide for Leaders and Players • The Wiki List of Slash Commands
