Bluff Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago (edited) Would it be possible to add the arena camera as a P2W power? My thought is that it would make you an invisible entity that enemies/teammates can’t see or target. This would disable all of your powers and allow you to hover freely throughout the map. You’d still be able to be on a team like you can in an arena map, but you wouldn’t be able to perform any actions besides moving. The use cases for this I had in mind were: - Helping another player learn how to play by demonstrating something for them while they can safely watch up close. This would prevent them from needing to pick up stealth, phase shift, etc. - Recording gameplay footage of another player without showing up on their screen or impacting their gameplay. (This is the idea that brought me to this post) Some potential exploitation I could think of would be: - Removing any threat to yourself while collecting rewards if you’re on a team (Could mitigate this by disabling rewards while power is active) - Harassing other players in chat while not allowing them to see where you are Edited 16 hours ago by Bluff

Not knowing where someone is doesn't make harassment easier; you can still report them like anyone else.
Rudra Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago (edited) Another exploit: Being able to sneak past enemies that ignore stealth like Rikti Drones and Rularuu Watchers to safely scout an area for your objectives, negating the whole point of those mobs. (Edit: Especially if you can still interact with glowies or if you can quickly transition out of and then back into camera mode.) Edit again: It would also let players scout out other players for PvP without having to risk being detected/attacked until they were ready to attack. They could also just stay in camera mode and inform the rest of their team via the scout's location where the target other players are while standing in the midst of those other players as a camera perfectly safe from any harm. Edit yet again: If you want other people to watch the game being played to learn it without risk to their own characters, they can just watch the YouTube videos. Edited 14 hours ago by Rudra
