Allowing more than one costume slot to be used for VEAT costumes as well as normal costumes.

This is a big one for me, and I'm sure, other players who play Arachnos characters. I would really like to have alternate slots dedicated to variations of my character's epic archetype costume. One for a full suit, one for the helmet off, alternate color version. All sorts of reasons this would be useful. If we could just get an option at the top of the costume options for these characters it would make my day. Thank you.

IIRC the VEAT costume slot doesn't replace your 10 regular costume slots, so it's not something that can be turned on or turned off. The VEAT slot is given in addition to the 10 costume slots everyone gets. IIRC you can access the last one with costume change commands.

 

Apparently, giving the VEATs even one extra costume slot was a huge issue back in the day, so I'm not sure how likely/possible it would be to give them another. I certainly wouldn't complain if VEATs were given 2+10, with other regular characters pushed up to 12 slots and a UI change to accommodate, but I suspect that isn't an easy ask.

I have multiple VEATS, with multiple builds each, with multiple costumes each. I haven't experienced a shortage of costume slots for them. Of course I am not trying to have a rainbow version for each of the three possible builds.

 

Keep in mind that the villain critter versions are available as costume toggle powers.
