"You have lost connection to the server"

Hi, I haven't played in a few weeks and when (Feb 24th) I tried to log my account, I got the following pop-up, right after server selection (see screenshot).

Same result on my second account, regardless of the server I chose.

Firewall settings : OK

Ping to 51.161.76.201 : OK

"Reset Graphic after Launch" : did nothing

Check, verify, uninstall, install : did nothing

Run HC Launcher as Admin : did nothing

Firewall complete shutdown : did nothing

Current Version : 28.1.6513

If you can't even get in game I would try setting up a continuous ping to see if there are any interruptions in your connections.

At a Command Prompt type the line within the quotation marks    " ping 51.161.76.201 -t " and let it run a while. Mine comes back between 40 - 43ms.

If you see a huge variation in the response times there is an issue somewhere between your PC and Homecoming, but let's just start there.

 

Also try connecting to Reunion since it is a completely different server using different access. If it connects and is good that shows it is something on the Hop Path to Homecomings NA server. Let us know what you find.

Manga (on CoX Discord) helped me to find a solution for my issue : it was a program supposed to enhance (I guess) my connection performance, turned out it wasn't.

Pasting my discord answer below (hoping it'll help someone one day) :

"It was a software I installed with my new mother board back in december : cFosSpeed. Everything was good until the last update (Feb 20th I think) right around when cFosSpeed became Gigabyte Speed. Long story short, I uninstalled cFos/Gigabyte Speed and I can access my character list and enter the game."

 Back to patrolling now ! See you in game 🙂
