Oh, I'm currently leveling one of these and having a great time with it! Only lvl 32 so far but it's pretty nasty! 

 

Your build looks pretty solid! You have some extra AoE def so I might pull 2 slots out of Evasion and move 1 slot to Enduring for a second Performance Shifter and move the other one to Health for a Numina. (I hate having end issues on a toon, ymmv)

 

I attached my build but its a leveling build so you wont find any purps, superiors, plused out IOs or Incarnates.

 

edit: 1 more thing, try to get tough and weave into the build as early as you can. It makes a big difference.

This is a very quick rework of the elec/energy sentinel that I have (you can adjust the levels at which power choices are taken as you like). I do not like fly/hover personally, so I never take it on any of my builds. I tend to play my elec/energy sentinel more like a scrapper and stay in melee range. I wouldn't overlook going for radial side of musculature alpha for the end mod. One of the big things that elec does extremely well is end drain thanks to short circuit (take this early!) and thunderous blast. I went with /energy on my sentinel to help that further via power drain. My elec/energy runs lightning field from elec mastery, but I swapped it out to move the slots for master brawler. Chain fences can honestly be replaced with whatever (even 1 slot lightning field if you like), but having an immobilize doesn't hurt since end drained foes tend to run around a lot.

 

I tend to 4 slot shield wall in defensive armor sets to build up e/n resist, my build is a bit more balanced on s/l/e/n resist overall. You can change that out to get some extra slots elsewhere if you prefer. I'd suggest spending fewer slots on voltaic sentinel and procing out thunderous blast more.

Very good point, the immob is hugely beneficial! You'll hit a spawn with Charge up, Thunderous, Short Circuit and Ball Lit and anything that isn't dead will 100% start running.

 

The epic/patron pools also some great powers in them beyond the immob. The single target melee attacks and the singles target holds proc out really well and can do some serious damage!

  • Even though the %opportunity proc is crappy, I wouldn't skip the Opportunity Strikes ATO. The set bonuses are quite good.
  • Unlike other ATs, the sentinel version of Tesla Cage does high damage. I wouldn't bother proccing it out and would slot it like a normal attack.
  • Consider slotting Synapse's Shock in Short Circuit. Enhancing the end drain as well as the damage is quite useful. 
  • You want Musculature Radial (not Core) to boost the end mod.
