Jake110 Posted June 20 Posted June 20 Since the update to 28.2.6916 on Wednesday the 18th of June, all my keyboard inputs have been suffering from a delay, which increases as more key presses are added to the queue. It's made the game quite unplayable and I'm not sure how to proceed. The keyboard inputs were working fine for the week and a half I was playing before the most recent update, so I'm quite certain that's the cause. I'm unsure how to proceed here. I'm playing on a Linux machine via wine. I originally thought it was server connection lag, but after transferring to a less populated server the issue has reduced but not disappeared. My internet connection itself is fine, 380Mb/s up and 36Mb/s down. Any advice would be appreciated.
Marine X Posted June 20 Posted June 20 Most lag issues come from the client side, I suggest testing the connection in game to see what is going on, Running /netgraph 1 in game puts a little connection monitor in the lower right corner of your screen. Out of the way and you can let it run while playing. In the chat line type: /netgraph 1 to turn off /netgraph 0 Interpreting the netgraph: Spike shape: The height of the bar representing server ping time in milliseconds. Short is good, long is bad. Green bars represent received packets. Short = normal/good Long = low bandwidth. Yellow bars represent retransmitted packets. Short = ISP/Router issues Red bars represent dropped packets Short = ISP/Router issues Blocks of Red = Interrupted communications " When it's too tough for everyone else, it's just right for me..." ( Unless it's Raining, or Cold, or Really Dirty or there are Sappers, Man I hate those Guys...) Marine X
