exploration tips give the wrong redside/blueside zone if rogue alignment and change zones

ok, this is a weird one... 🤪

 

this is replicable, but only if you take the exploration tip misions as a rogue first.

 

it took me a while to figure out most of the limits of this.

 

apparently, i never realized that exploration tip missions, while in the tip zone, give the exploration badge name, rather than the zone for the badge. if you go out of the badge location zone, it will change from the badge name to the zone name for that badge location. not realizing this i picked up a KW exploration badge and was paying attention because i noticed that it said the badge name rather than the zone. but when i went to pocket D, the zone name was changed to a map name rather than KW zone name.

curious, i went to king's row and picked up a badge there, got the exploration tip for man of vengence, but when i went back to atlas, it showed it being in port oakes rather than KR

but if you do go to the zone, as a rogue, the one that is wrongly indicated, it does not give the badge location, you got the word "Connector" in place of the badge name/zone name.

 

 

i tried to replicate this starting as a vigilante, but only the KW exploration tip mission still would show as a map name while out of zone. when switching to rogue, they all worked as normal, as far as i tested. 

 

 

there is something funny going on with the exploration tip missions only starting as a rogue, taking an exploration tip mission and then switching to rogue does not produce the same results.

 

also, there seems to be a zone level connection between maps; ie. atlas=mercy, KR=port oakes,  IP=nerva, etc. not at all sure how that would work, but it seemed consistant without further testing.
