could someone look over my spines/ bio brute and make suggestions?

Ive never shared a build before and im excited to get some feedback on my main brute. i generally solo content and have somewhat accidentally arrived at the current build after realizing he was a beast and super survivable. ive optimized him to the best of my knowledge and ability but i think he probably has redundant resistances and/ or could have more optimal enhancement sets in some powers. any ideas or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

looks good bud, very resilient. might consider swapping the obliteration set for the cupids crush set bonuses on genetic contamination. however, you loose the static 3% dmg buff and the smashing dmg proc in place of  slightly more res/acc/rech/and a confuse proc instead. seeing as youre about .5 seconds away from perma haste and youre capping res and def with t4 barrier idk if the swap would strictly be necessary but the confuse proc could equate to more dmg to enemies than the static 3% depending on frequency or time the proc lasts.

hey thanks so much for the reply ill look into that. 🙂 dont you wish someone would look at this thread instead of arguing about stalkers/scrappers on the BRUTE thread where the guy doesn't understand the concept of a nerf. Like how crazy is it  that he can analyze the patch notes but gloss over the fact that, while increasing the physical radius of an aoe power, the maximum number of enemies hit by that power did not increase and in fact the dmg beyond the initial enemies hits decreases. so it is certainly a much desired debuff to bring brutes back into the fold and be competitive with tankers in a meta enviroment. furthermore the thread has hundreds of posts not even on topic and arguing about the validity of scrappers/ stalker...... *sigh*

Need ~100% recharge/speed debuff resist

 

Inexhaustible is over slotted

 

You'll get more endurance recovery from PS +end proc

 

Build up is underslotted, at least put Gaussian's proc in it

 

Barb Swipe has better DPA than Lunge

 

You are missing Steadfast's unique

 

Bio is a clicky secondary and you need as much recharge and recharge debuff resist as possible.

 

Without any DDR all the defenses you have will be floored. If you want recharge from your alpha I would recommend Spiritual for the additional healing, but I usually go Vigor with my Bio guys.

 

I am not a great builder, but if you want to see how to slot Bio (IMO the best way) look up Spaghetti Betty. Her builds are top notch.
