NPCs getting stuck on the old Shadowhunter mission

I often run the old Maria Jenkins Hero's Hero arc in Ouroboros for the Statesman's Pal badge.  The Defeat All Wolves in Area mission has a map bug where the NPCs will hop up into the treeline and get stuck, making them untargetable.  Apologies for the dark screen grab.  Probably hard to see on this screen capture since it was night time on the map.  Hopefully you can see where this wolf was up in a tree.

 

I used /whereami to get these coordinates:

 

•  OUTDOOR_FOREST_01C Position: [-987.6 -6.1 1745.3]
•  OUTDOOR_FOREST_01C Position: [-960.6 -8.4 1752.6]

 

This happens more often than not when running this mission.
