Labyrinth of Fog: Tests of Combat Guide

When: Introduced in Issue 28 page

What:

• Repeatable missions
  • Requirement: Level 45+ with at least one player who has access to the Core
  • Six basic color missions, blue, green, orange, yellow, red, violet and the special white mission
    • Mission color matches a Labyrinth zone which means the mobs will be the same as the Labyrinth zone, except White.
    • Each mission has one AV/EB at the end.
    • 10 or 15 Obols per completion
  • Tested By Combat: Badge for completion of each color mission at least once
  • White/Test of Apathy is special in several ways
    • An option once the leader has Tested By Combat. 
    • Another player could have the badge. Grab the mission and have the leader select it.
    • All enemies in the mission are Rank-Shifted to Boss or Elite Boss rank.
    • This mission sees you fight all four Generals of Achlys at the same time.
    • Gladiators In The Fog spawn at x8 Difficulty. These count for the badge/vanity pet, drop 1 Obol per player, and a Drought of Fog Inspiration.
    • 25 Obols per completion
    • Chromatic Combatant: Badge for complete the test
  • Features
  • The Labyrinth’s 25% experience bonus is in effect
  • Mobs have been rank shifted up one, minions become lieutenants, etc
  • This ends up being a big positive effect on exp/inf.
  • Mobs count towards defeat badges
  • Droughts of Fog work inside the mission, but the buff drops every time you zone in or out of the mission. So, don’t click the inspiration till you are inside the mission.
  • Hospital is in the Core

Where:

    Labyrinth of Fog: Core, which is in the Midnighter's Club in any zone *except* Night Ward. (For lore reasons)
        Only one person needs access to the Core. The rest can use, Follow Thru The Fog, to teleport to them

Who:

• The Watcher, Teleute in the Labyrinth: Core

  • The mission entrance is the portal behind her

Why:

• It's fun to solo or team.
• There are two badges
• Good source of Obols which can be exchanged for many things including merits at the Core vendor
  • /thumbtack 443.5 -254.7 2448.8
• The experience and influence is very good
  • How good? Let's be clear, not fire farming good, but better than radios.
  • Mostly full PUG team of 50+
  • Time: 1:10, including time walking people through how to get into the Midnighter Club, LoF, and Core.
  • First two missions at 4x8, last two 5x8.
  • Exp: 30, 242, 334 which ended up being 5 vet levels. 7200 exp per second.
  • Inf: 35, 285, 498 or 8401 inf per second
