Malware Found in Tequila Launcher Connection

Recommended Posts

Hi, I got the same ESET warning, for the malware.  Here is the specific IP Address it is complaining about:

Maybe we can set it up to use a different IP address... one that doesn't trigger ESET?  That would make new users feel more comfortable.

Note that ESET blocks that connection. So if my install still works, I'm assuming that "bad mirror" is not needed, so maybe we can tell tequila.exe to avoid it (i.e. delete it from the manifest (tequila.xml))?

Also, this link is triggering a malware alarm:

          http://fallenfaux.com/cg.dll

So again, since we already have ten (10) other links to get cg.dll, let's delete that one from the manifest (near line 225).

Come to think of it, maybe I am using an old manifest?  I'm using the one pointed to by the forum post: https://forums.homecomingservers.com/topic/584-dredds-guide-to-loading-city-of-heroes/
