  1. We havent made it to KW yet. Thanks for letting me know - I wasnt aware. Last night was Manticore - so mostly Crey.
  2. I am in a group on Indom that meets 9-11pm pacific daily. Every 2-3 weeks we pick a new theme and go with it. Our latest is any of the new or significantly altered power sets from the last update. I am playing a (now 38) Pyro/Fire Dominator and we also have a controller Pyro/Dark (I think for the secondary). We also have 2+ tanks and 2+ brutes. Not everyone makes it every night. If we have more than 8 we league and do the same TF or Event. Ok so that is the Context and situation. Here is the possible bug. Both of us playing Pyro independently came to the same feeling that we are pulling much more agro than expected. In particular last night the group I was on had 2 tanks, 2 brutes, a scrapper, a Sentinel and me the DOM. I would pull agro off them in may fights. Even with me seeing them taunt. Not pulling whole groups but 1-3+ small groups. I also get in this team last night I was the only one without a resist or defense based primary or secondary. I really like the set, the mix of status effects and powers, I am just wondering if Glittering Column is doing something weird with it's taunt or perhaps some other power is playing tricks on the agro system. Thank you for your time, -Zep
  3. How can I make the font(s) used by Show FPS and Net Graph bigger? Is there an .ini file to edit somewhere? Or an existing mod? They are both unreadable on my 4k monitor. And, just to clearly communicate, I already know that the game was build before such higher screen resolutions were developed. Thank you, -Z
  4. Minor thing really on how the visuals for powers like Dazzle work. It would, for me, be awesome if there were an alternate animation set with the projectile using a linier/straight-line trajectory rather then a parabolic one. Or to put it another way 🙂 like a hardball pitch vs a softball pitch. Tossing spells (magic origin) like little bags of brightly colored powder just doesnt seem right. Of course for science or tech maybe even natural perhaps this would be more in line? Thank you for your time and attention. -Z
  5. Back after a bit of a break and rearing to be purple and Kheldian. I have a 50 Warshade with a tri-form build. Mostly IO's. Does OK but definitely not something with with to write home about. I am wanting to make a second build for him. First, I dont have tons of INF. I'd be starting with plain IO's and moving to sets over time. I am hoping to make a primarily Human form WS, scrapper with a bit of controller style, with the Dwarf Form also fully loaded and ready to go for challenging situations and being Mez'd. I am hoping to not need to do multiple respecs, so by deciding right off and up front which powers should get 4, 5, and 6 piece sets. That way they can migrate from basic IO's to sets as I pick up and afford the pieces. Anyone know or have a build adaptable to that? Thank you, -Z

Checking that right now. Yes, that is it. Thank you! Now, is that a bug or WAI?

    Long Term Bugs

Hmmmmm, first, please read this in a level tone. Discussing facts, not attacking or contentious. I am back after a bit of a break. I always come back eventually. 🙂 Prior to my break I recall reading about the Diagnostic Client, which I consistently use, and how the "Low hanging fruit" of the Bug-Tree has been picked already. I notice some of the bugs I recall, even from live, are still there. The infamous friend list bug, for example, that shows people online when they are not. One of my toons despite having a chest piece it doesn't show -well it does on the costume screen and the icon shop screens, just not on the character in play. Little things like that. I had more, but of course, my mind wanders. The joys of maturity, right? Does running the Diagnostic Client really help? What else can I, as a persons with too much time on my hands, who is not more then a basic, the language, not even good enough to call myself basically skilled at coder able to do to help? Is there a list of these legacy (and presumably not easy to fix) bugs out there, along with newly introduced ones? Knowledge is power and more eyes looking at may help. Thanks, -Z -edit: typo
  8. All new models for the Mastermind's Robots. Please dont misunderstand, I like the current models, I just have an idea of an alternate design that I think would be awesome. If I had the skills, knowledge, training, and/or time/money to go back to college and perhaps get them, I'd do them myself. Sadly my artistic capabilities suck. Hmmmm, I could use AI to try and draw pictures. To at least show my idea.
  9. It really depends. Without specifics it is hard to say yes or no. I have played various pen and paper RPG's like Champions - now named Hero, GURPSS, and am currently in a Savage Worlds (SWAID), campaign. All three of these, and no doubt more I have not played, have disadvantages (aka quirks) built into character creation. They serve a purpose, adding build points, making for RP opportunities, Like my SWAID guy, a 17 year old High School boy dropped into a fantasy, swords and sorcery, world. He thinks he is making tech, like his Ray Gun (BOLT and STUN spell/power), his wrist device (detect/conceal arcana) scanner, and force field belt (protection spell). He's just a beginner and as he levels up will get a lot more spells and gadgets. SWAID has something called Bennies - which are earned various ways but largely by Role Playing your Quirks/Weaknesses. In session 0 I made sure to communicate with the other players I would be role playing him with those 1950's Leave it to Beaver values, including the mild misogyny of what women cant do - I was, and will continue to be sure to remind people this isn't what I, the player, believe, just this character. From the OP's tone I am gathering they were meaning something more numerical than behavior, though J.T. (my SWAID gut) does get some minuses to certain rolls, I dont think its quite the same. With an MMO, till AI gets a whole lot better, we just don't have the same level or kind of RP and no GM monitoring all chatter between characters to award bennies, so I question how it would work. It would definitely need to be part of character creation and have some sort of offset, say Fire Resist hard caps at 50% and 25% increase to outgoing cold damage, kind of thing.
  10. An extra $1500 less the $150-250 one might spend for a separate AIO of the same capacity and quality. Not in my budget --- still if your not hawking a kidney for it - good for you. I hope it significantly out benches the stock version at that price. Asus builds some nice toys, they charge for their brand name as well.
  11. The highest official price for a consumer GPU is $1999.00 US though I expect some of the third party, Factory Overclocked" or otherwise enhanced versions of the 5090 might go as high as $2500ish. Then again perhaps the $3500 is scalper pricing or Canadian or AUD Dollars (or one of the many other countries that also call currency a Dollar). Not sure what current conversion rates are.
  12. Thanks. I knew some tweaks had been made and assumed everything was good, still nice to know for sure.
  13. My primary guess is no, but...... the game code was built around PhysX and even supported an accelerator card at one time. I even looked at buying one back in the day but they were too hard to find and expensive (at least at first) then PhysX was added to the NV GPU drivers. Anyhow and back to my wandering point, any thoughts on potential issues? 14. Now that things are official, were it to become possible, I would set up a monthly recurring charge as well.
