  1. I haven't finished Echo yet, and the less said about Secret Invasion the better. I actually liked it better the Cap and Winter Soldier, but it looks like I'm in the minority on that. Seriously, that series is so forgettable no one talks about it anymore.
  2. That video was far longer than it needed to be. The error was spending GoT money on a show without a GoT audience. The end. While yes, the twerking scene was not needed, but calling it "sh*t" is just wrong. It was overall decently reviewed. I felt like the TV show did the character justice. That final episode is going to hold up even 20 years from now. I know when they added the one actress as basically a scene stealer people on Marvel's social media loved that character. I also find their point about targeting women when their fans base is really men odd. Did they not see the Wonder Woman film which did over $800 million? Yes, the film was really good, but you can't tell me they weren't doing similar in the film versus the show in terms of poking fun at the patriarchy. Plus, they brought up the whole 'woke' nonsense. +90% of people complaining about Disney or anything being woke just proves to me they don't know what they are talking about and make me yearn for the days when people didn't value some randos on Youtube and followed actual journalists. In the end, She-Hulk I thought was one of the better Marvel shows.
  3. Fire/rad Brute could work, but it lacks much in the mitigation department. Granted, I have a Savage/rad Brute in the similar vein.
  4. I would go Fire/rad for Corr, Controller, or Blaster. I find /fire to be not worth my while on a Brute unless I am farming. Rad melee is a bit on the slow side for me as well.
  5. I'm not sure how many of these series need to keep going, but I enjoyed it and thought it was one of the better Marvel series they did. The reality of the situation is Mark Ruffalo isn't getting younger, so at some point even if he is brought in, it would likely just be for voice work. My guess is this is why Skaar was done along with Red Hulk although I don't expect that to be a long arc.
  6. X-Men are being covered this year via a new cartoon and Deadpool 3. Technically Ms. Marvel is a mutant in the MCU. IIRC, they literally couldn't use the word mutant until last year.
  7. I can't fathom any actor being tied to an X-Men character which Marvel has to use due to a contract. The X-Men trilogy was completed. Wolverine is done. Hugh Jackman even said he was done with Wolverine until Ryan Reynolds/Marvel essentially begged him to come back. Also, this would be similar to FF or the Defender characters from Netflix. Once you switch studios, there is no contract which goes between the studios. Hell, there were like 3 different Punisher movies, and I think they all used different actors for Punisher. I watched through E3. I find the series solid, but in the 6-7 range which feels like a default for anything D+ these days.
  8. Since you are on the newer side and might not have the currency for IOs, here's my general rule for starting out. For Single target attacks you want 1 acc, 1 end reduc, 3 damage, 1 recharge. For AoE attacks you want 1 acc, 2 end reduc, 3 damage. For virtually any toggle, you want an end reduc in it. If you are under level 22, double the number of slotting for what you have so lets say 2 acc and 2 end reduc. BA is fantastic, but is absolutely sucks end. I would also do this with common IOs. You can use level 25s all the way to 50.
  9. I'll also toss in Fire/rad, Fire/dark, Fire/time. Those work for Fire due to offering End management tools. If you are specifically soloing certain things, ie GMs, then yes, Ill is better, but Fire has a lot more AoE damage which I find works well enough for teams and general soloing. Note, I'm not saying Earth/storm is bad because it is a genuine control monster and one of my favorite controllers ever, but if you want damage, it will be later in the build and using procs to do so.
  10. For solo, I would pick Ice over Fire, but Fire/rad is going to still do wonders. I would also go /dark over /rad, but /dark also doesn't have a way to deal with End like Rad does, so it might take a bit more to get to a happy place.
  11. I never finished the build, but I feel like a possible way to do Def for Regen is via Positional Def. Add in DA and you can see about capping Melee Def.
  12. I didn't see the others but I thought Soul was pretty solid.
  13. Just watched the first episode. I think my biggest take away is having a show which isn't being done in a metropolis as being a nice change.
