Isn't there a /stuck command for when your toon gets stuck in the geometry?

Why not a /target_stuck command that checks for local mobs that are stuck in the geometry, then moves them out of it.  If there isn't a mob found out of bounds, then it does nothing.

I always thought there should be something like this as well. I dont often get enemies stuck in walls but it can be tricky with certain powersets. I've never gotten or seen a mob stuck in a wall.

If not this, a bandaid would be a tp foe inherent on a weekly recharge. Doesnt address the root cause tho and seems kinda weird having this in your powers..

  2. I've seen it several times in the past where 10+ spawn one after another in Talos on Excelsior. Haven't run into it in months but I am also on later. If I remember correctly some would overlap. I always assumed it was a GM or bug. Interesting that this is possibly generated by players.

I think I prefer not to know. It's more fun with the mystery surrounding it.

  3. Though I don't use AE I would think removing xp would anger a lot of players. I personally don't mind AE players PLing. The game makes us overpowered anyway imo and I don't mind if someone doesn't know how to play certain powersets well. (To rephrase maybe there is a learning curve if you pl to 50 that can be overcome. I don't mind if I am in the middle of someone trying to figure that out)

As far as my knowledge of AE goes, I see a lot of people looking for "hitters" and "sitters" for fire farms.. I'm curious if the hitters would continue since they are only in it for influence or if they are in it for other reasons I am unaware of..

I don't know that anyone has rigorously clocked the rate of Fury gain, but most of the time a Brute reaches near-cap in short order and them remains there indefinitely just from their own attacks. I certainly wouldn't be concerned about the fact that certain armor sets minimize the number of times Brutes get hit from the standpoint of Fury generation.

Fury builds by attacking and being attacked. */Ice allows for +End... allows for more attacking.

I disagree to some extent* on the end, I feel like attack rate would be a better way to bring up your fury if you're getting hit at a slower rate.

*That being said I like to take care of any end issues I have as quickly as possible because I hate running out.

  6. I've been told by some that ice is avoided by brutes  due to  slows (causing less fury). I've had some fun playing one dispite this.. so what if it kills slightly slower if you enjoy it.  but it may be more useful on a tank.. and I get that.

  7. If mez is important in overcoming him dont forget to get the vanguard medal behind his back. Double your holds, immob, fear, confuse for a minute. Probably something he wouldnt think about as a potential problem.

Edit: dunno if that is allowed in pvp or arena now that I think of it...

  8. I never noticed it either.. perhaps if it looked like a button. I'm a born button pusher. A drop down when clicked to place bids on that salvage that makes up the recipe would be really cool.

I think you should schedule and run this content. Advertise it in game and on discord. You could also try on different servers.

This. Also advertising the scheduled time on the forums, after a msr/ hami raid/zone event or where ever else you could reach the masses.

The option exists to enable/disable inspirations by size and type. Team and dual inspirations are enabled and disabled separately, but I'm not sure what would happen if you enabled team but disabled all sizes or types.

I imagine you end up with nothing if you diabled either all sizes or all types regardless of team/dual. I enable team and disable certain types and i do not get team or single inspirations of the specified disabled types.

  11. The Vahzilok at my lvl 5 sidekicks preschool arc keep giving the rest of my supergroup the infamous snot nose badges.

..other than that i found a way to use the older DO enhancements (that were laying in a cardboard enhancement rack under my desk at work) on newer power sets.. The newer IOs cost a few million influence so Julie the Goulie over in purchasing keeps removing my Auction House bids.

I heard Frostfire in the Hollows was one.

I think the appeal (for me at least) with frostfire is the nostalgia. This was the mish everyone was doing on live as it was a longish mish where on a full team everyone would lvl several times often getting to 14 to get their travel power.. add in the ice half pipes an elite boss and it hit a lot of  marks..

Croatoa is my favorite blue side zone. I try to do all the mishes there for all my toons and the katie hannon task force. At that point you are just a few location badges away from getting the Geas the Kind One accolade.

  13. I dont really rp but I like to make the dumbest heroes possible as I enjoy a good laugh. Faults are more interesting to me.

I loved the Tick.. No brain whatsoever.. Die Fledermaus used to crack me up. Such a waste of a "super hero". He would run in the face of danger. I recall him disconnecting his phone when they shined his signal for help.

All that being said, making the most ridiculous character in game isn't for everyone. I personally wouldn't have as much fun playing any other way. Why? I don't know.. Maybe my parents dropped me on my head. Maybe I partied too hard in highschool. The why doesn't really matter. Here we are. Our experiences help shape who we are and we are all the main characters in our own stories, so we should be mindful when we disagree with the best way for all of us to have fun together.

Personally if I ran into an "all powerful" being I would see it as an oppertunity to play the village idiot. If they don't like that no worries. I know a gorilla in a tux that will team with me.

  14. I am the master of forgetting I have both renewal of light and return to battle. Despite the fact that I generally get them on every toon I always seem to forget. Once someone dropped a rez on me while i was waiting for the group standing on top of me to get killed to use a rez i already had in my insp tray... it was too much stupid for me to admit on the team 😆

Bound For Valhalla can just as easily be called Bound For Glory since the principle is to point out someone who fights with such savagery as to reap glory towards the afterlife. (And was not meant in any way as meaning the individual is on their way to Valhalla, which would mean (s)he was dead.)

I kind of feel like it should be the opposite. Like you are losing hit points and get crazy damage when clicked.. maybe stop losing hp at 10 or 5% health. Truley bound for glory 😄 valhalla worm food!

...but I guess thats kind of the opposite of what we were doing here. Now I've confused myself.

I know @Troo said that this was supposed to be a modified Regen set, but I think it would be more interesting if it was opposite of Regen. Like you get +Def and/or +Res at the cost of HP/regen. I mean it flows with the Berserker theme. You're not actually regenerating or healing, you're just so pumped that you're ignoring damage to your body. It would also be in line with the checks and balances to prevent it from being too strong. It doesn't have to be Def/Res, it could ToHit at the cost of Crit chance (swinging wildly), or even introduce a new mechanic of +damage to your team... I mean there's a reason Berserkers were feared and mostly alone, right?

Thats a really interesting idea.. I was not familiar with berserkers and looked it up.. apparently  vikings ingesting mushrooms which helped them rage/ blood lust in battle? Reminds me of stimpacks in starcraft or mad max when they would inhale chrome paint yelling "witness me!"

Long term harm for a short burst of energy. Superadine would be the obvious answer but then.. heroes on drugs.. might need an in game 12 step program between missions.
