Change soothing aura to a group buff toggle to where it heals the party members that are in range when they hit an enemy, based on animation time. Kind of like brimestone, but with healing. Each time a player is healed with soothing aura (Or each time you do damage while soothing aura is up?) , you get a x% chance to gain a charge. Different abilities would have a normal version, and an enhanced version that'll consume charges (Think Seismic Blast). The charges could be used to incease the power of the straight heals, Anguishing Cry could add def and res to allies while taking it from the enemies, painbringer could have it's recharge time reduced, something like that.

Almost all of ice control is of the "get up in there" type. It really lacks ranged control, and I find myself getting destroyed while jumping big packs of mobs. How should I deal with this? Rune of protection?

Then the game is showing the icons and the numbers in the stat windows wrong. a single Fireball versus a single Ball Lightning in a farm, with a bunch of insights popped, hitting a group of mobs. -
AOE's like ball lightning only give one stack of bonus damage, where as fireball and the rad AOE's give a damage boost per mob hit, where in fireball's case, each buff is the same as the one buff from ball lightning, making some sets much more powerful. I suggest either making ALL non nuke AOE's either give one buff, or per enemy hit.

Have they ever explained why some AOE's from primaries only give one stack of bonus damage, like ball lightning, and some give a bonus per mob hit, like fireball and the rad aoe's?

That's interesting, considering Cloaking Device only takes defensive sets. Lotg fodder then.

I guess it'll make slotting shadow fall easier at least.

While turned on, it gives me no defense according to the attributes window. It doesn't even show up. EDIT: It seems cloaking device overrides shadow fall instead of adding it's defense. If I turn off cloaking device, shadow fall pops up.

How about a option that'll help buffers keep track of their buffs on other players, which would only show your buffs on them?

Has anyone tried this since they revamped Ice Domination? I know the confuse on both get enhanced by domination. Would it be worth it to pick up both? Would it be enough confuse to affect say, an arch villain while under domination, instead of just Boss mobs?

So I plan to take Spiritual Core for my alpha, to help with the heals and the recharge on my buffs/debuffs, and Ageless for even more recharge and to fix my end issues. I have no idea what to take for Interface and Hybrid. Degenerative interface to help out the team? Support hybrid to give everyone on the team some more buffs? Pain/Dark Defender, if that matters at all.
