    This is something I think that gets misunderstood when people see others running meta or speedy for 4star. We have lives, and a larger part of is just wanting to get through the content we like in the time we have. Some people can spend multiple hours on a 4star LGTF. Others like myself can not spend that time at one thing for that long, so we speed it. Neither is wrong. Just different.

     

    At the end of the day, content be cleared with any AT with right building, strats, and team comp. Hell knows I have tortured Apollo with my "bad" toons and he has tortured me with his. But we still clear and get through fine.

     

    If you are getting turned away, consider the ATs/sets you bring might be filled by another. Team balance is one the big keys to 4star. If someone is really snobbing you just for your AT, you are probs better off for it. They would not be someone you would have a fun time playing with it.

    Like a lot of stuff with doms, it doesn't really come into its own until 50. In practice, while it has some control that work well once you have perma dom, it lags behind other sets in that area overall. The pets not having taunt and needing to pair it with a dps set are the biggest things I've found disappointing when building one.

     

    I wouldn't say it's near the bottom in terms of set as it can be quite powerful, especially in groups but I wouldn't say it's the best either. Sort of that awkward middle ground of meh.

     

    Despite that, I have been enjoying my ill/Psy Dom quite a bit, It's still a fun set to me at least despite it's flaws.

    Some people have weird expectations and think there is only one right way to do things. Sounds like you got one of those.

     

    Don't worry too much if people leave or say dumb things. Not people you want to group with for what you are running if that is their attitude. Just /ignore them if they are being too troublesome.

    This is the case with most power pools really. Some powers are great, some depended on the person behind the screen, some are meh, and some are 🤮. In the end, it's a game of choices and sacrifices. Part of what makes this game so great is the customization and tinkering we get to do with powers. 

     

    Punch and kick are fine and work as good "Oh shit I'm almost out of END but still need to hit something" powers or for IOs.

    Could be but if I recall correctly, they specifically said MoM and joined before the baf group started forming. So idk. It's possible though don't know why they just couldn't leave and join the baf. 

     

    Might be another reason to use Echo more though. I used it for runs last night and outside of needing to help a few people get there, filled quick and worked fine.

    You are right of course. No one owns any iTrial or any group content for that matter. 

     

    The induvial who sparked this post, however, didn't leave and join the other group. He just.... left my group and started calling both of us rude and other negative comments for a couple of minutes because we were forming in the same area. Then he just dipped. It sounds like from what I am understanding that isn't a commonly held view about forming in the same area and he just may have some outdated/strange ideas about this sort of thing. Or was just having a bad day.🤷‍♀️

     

    Mostly, this incident just had me curious if there were other things as a leader that I might not know so I can continue to lead groups better. Always want to learn and get better.
