    Agreed to all of this! Since they yeeted the lvl requirements, it's much better. The trainer and lfg bugs are really the only downside

    The trainer I imagine could just be added to the entry area when you first zone in.

    LFG bugs are a bit more tricky as it is more a gen LFG problem then just MSR. Hopefully they can continue to work on it make it more stable

    I'm genuinely baffled by the push back to this idea.

    I feel like people misunderstand what leading content like this is. Anyone can shout for "Hey I'm doing X come join!". Anyone can form something. But they doesn't mean that person can do it and do it successfully. Zone raids like Hami do require leadership, not just "Hey go kill things" like in TF. Asking for a little more control so you can exude back actors from something this more easy to be messed up by them than a TF. A star on a lead means nothing if their is not knowledge and leadership behind it in. That has been the case both in this game and since the dawn of MMOs.

     

    Reality is this a game we play with other people, not mindless robots. You get all different kinds of people and that's what makes it fun but it's also why tools even as basic as the kick button exist. There are bad actors just like there is IRL, and they can drastically hurt everyone's fun and waste peoples time. A good lead will remove those people so that people who actually want to play and follow along with what they are doing can do so without interference. If those bad actors hate it, they can go try and do their own thing. Sometimes the person isn't even a full on bad actor and is just someone who wants to do things a different way and rather than leading their own things, wants to try to take over things from a lead who is asking them to do something different. Which is unhelpful and not respectful of that lead who has put the time and effort in to run that content in that moment.

    With all that in mind, I fail to understand the push back here. Fear of exclusion from a oppressive lead? Go lead how you would then. Fear of leads only picking their favs? 48 people can fit in league, doubt they can only pick their favs.

    The only thing I understand is the dev question, but that's not really argument. Either it's something they can or something they can't. If they can, great. Makes our lives easier. If not, it is what it is. But I would rather advocate for tools that makes it easier for leads to run content and get told it's not feasible then not.

    I will strongly suggest listening to people who actually lead the content in this forum post, namely @Laucianna, @Oklahoman, and @Wispur

    This is something I think that gets misunderstood when people see others running meta or speedy for 4star. We have lives, and a larger part of is just wanting to get through the content we like in the time we have. Some people can spend multiple hours on a 4star LGTF. Others like myself can not spend that time at one thing for that long, so we speed it. Neither is wrong. Just different.

     

    At the end of the day, content be cleared with any AT with right building, strats, and team comp. Hell knows I have tortured Apollo with my "bad" toons and he has tortured me with his. But we still clear and get through fine.

     

    If you are getting turned away, consider the ATs/sets you bring might be filled by another. Team balance is one the big keys to 4star. If someone is really snobbing you just for your AT, you are probs better off for it. They would not be someone you would have a fun time playing with it.

    The Illusion of a powerset

    Like a lot of stuff with doms, it doesn't really come into its own until 50. In practice, while it has some control that work well once you have perma dom, it lags behind other sets in that area overall. The pets not having taunt and needing to pair it with a dps set are the biggest things I've found disappointing when building one.

     

    I wouldn't say it's near the bottom in terms of set as it can be quite powerful, especially in groups but I wouldn't say it's the best either. Sort of that awkward middle ground of meh.

     

    Despite that, I have been enjoying my ill/Psy Dom quite a bit, It's still a fun set to me at least despite it's flaws.

    Some people have weird expectations and think there is only one right way to do things. Sounds like you got one of those.

     

    Don't worry too much if people leave or say dumb things. Not people you want to group with for what you are running if that is their attitude. Just /ignore them if they are being too troublesome.

    This is the case with most power pools really. Some powers are great, some depended on the person behind the screen, some are meh, and some are 🤮. In the end, it's a game of choices and sacrifices. Part of what makes this game so great is the customization and tinkering we get to do with powers. 

     

    Punch and kick are fine and work as good "Oh shit I'm almost out of END but still need to hit something" powers or for IOs.
