  1. LaRowen,

Before we start, make sure Tequila is closed, and not on the taskbar.

    goto your game directory before COH folder;

    Example " C:\Program Files\Games\COH\" One in bold.

Right click on the COH Folder - (you will know if its the right folder as the cityofheroes.exe is inside)

And you should see something alike to this.

See the "Read only" bit thats ticked? Untick it, and relaunch Tequlia. Should load the manifest now =)

Give that a go, let me know how you get on =)

  2. Depending on how your hosting your network shares, i would map that folder as a drive, with a format Letter (Z:\ for example) and try that way.

Likely whats happaning is when the drives connected, its mapping to a drive format - unlike the network folder is a folder path, and when the games looking for reg its likely not finding it.

Install games to Computer A/NAS A:

    C:\Games\COH as an example

Setup a network share for the "COH" folder. - Remember permissions setup.

Map the "COH" Folder to a drive letter (Z: for example) on Computer B.

Give it a bash, let me know how it goes.

  3. We are looking at doing seasonal events, or activating the in game ones - Dont quote me if it happens later than sooner though! Just its in the pipe line at least.

Also note, A few GM's - myself included are looking at doing our own events to just spice stuff up. Keep an eye out.

  4. Sounds really annoying!

Have you tried doing "alt+enter" to window the software - and try changing it via there - double click the top bar and should scale correctly.

Might not work - but worth a shot eh?

  5. I feel alot of "thanks" go un-noticed to the dev team - and i want to remedy that.

This topic is for you lot to say your happy comments, what it means for yourself personally.

Hopefully this brings up memorys you can share, so we can all remember the good times equally.

But i will say this, the Devs (coders, hosters), and us GM's are so thankful for all of you being here, and we wouldnt work so hard for anyone else.

COH Was, and still will be a moment in time for most of us that made us happy, cry, and rage when someone was doing a damn Lerroy Jinkins and grabbing all the rikiti mobs!

And to capature that, for us and for you - is what makes this community great.

So thanks Devs, from myself personally, im glad COH is back - im home =)

  6. Just to keep in mind - the devs budget to host is only limited! As much as i know people want to donate, the legal matters are there to halt that.

For now, to keep the servers from dying so often, they crushingly had to place some boundery to help avoid these issues.

Just for refrence, back in the day the server's had a limit of 1500 - we are hitting 4k, with less gear!

I understand the fustration, but over time we hope it resolves.

And thanks for the support =)

  7. I, myself, cannot and will not speak on behalf of the teams judgement on how they host - i believe none of us can, other than them.

But i feel they are providing what they possibly can to the community to let them enjoy what is on offer. The days are dark, and with ever looming questions about the legal issues, server costs, and alike - what ever their doing is to provide some sunshine in a lot old COH and New players alike.

I hope you understand the word "test" is in term, just to justify the progressive period, along with the uncertainty down the road.

Take what you will, but understand - the community is happy, and its run by fans - issues will come and go, and sooner than later things, i hope, will settle.

  8. The kind thanks from most the fans is plenty to keep the dev's going - if they "can" or "wish" to do a donation system down the road, they will let you know. For now, as mentioned, COH is back, free, and just as loveable.

I do suggest, letting the trolls be trolls, and after a while they will leave - leaving the best community, and one im glad to support as much as i can.

  9. Good Afternoon,

Can you provide what Intergrated specs the GPU is? As as mentioned, past a point during COH/COV Life, OpenGL3 was required, and some older intergrated cards do not support GL2.

    Cheers
