Oh sorry, that's with assault and the damage boosting Alpha slot on a /energy stalker so like 43% from set bonus I think.

My stalker has base 63.5% +dmg because the idea is for them to not be my defender who doesn't get to stab things with a sword.  I have enough recharge and no endurance issue and wasn't planning to tank for anyone's team so I think it's working fine.

When leading a team I'll save spots.  Personally I think everyone overdoes it with the info though.  Unless you have it set where I can't get your local name from your global in my chat log I just smile and nod at my screen whenever I get the intimate details of how I should be prepared to encounter a completely different character then the one that sent the initial tell.

 

Topic is giving some insight on people just trying to be courteous but damn, I know your "back" or that your actually *insert prevous toon name* before you can send the tell.  Just get to the TF zone and start dancing around with the other weirdos about to help me fight half-naked vampires and sexually frustrated werewolves.

In other people's defense the patch notes don't say "We have removed AE from Atlas Park/Mercy Island" they say:

I first read that as some unused enterable building being updated instead of AE being replaced, I don't use it myself so I wouldn't know off-hand where it was located.

I think I get what you mean.  That it's overspecialized, you're never going to get anything beyond what you set out to craft.  No matter how many Dam IO or Dam/End from a set you craft none will ever pop out with a +5% range bonus to set it apart.

 

Relative to CoH it's fine because the game isn't gear focused to being with, I can see how it's lacking compared to others though.

With the amount of Council you can fight you should have a 5th Column costume.

Go to a tailor or trainer and you can go into the costume editor and save it.

I do the Cooling/Nance/Adair missions on every character plus Moonfire TF and you can do the Citadel TF which for me ends up with the most trash talk toward a villain group then anything else in the game.

Street clothes are a good option for psychics.  If you've ever seen the psychic movies "The Dead Zone" or "Scanners" those movies are sweater-fests.

 

You can also have a monster costume as an alternate for when the psychic beast can't be contained anymore.

Tar Patch = If it's up it's out.  The -res does more for the group than anything else I'd being doing in the time it takes to cast it.

Darkest Night = Unless the group is struggling with defense I only throw it out if a fight is going to take a noticable amount of time or if I'm pulling another spawn into a fight.

Reading through the thread trying to figure out what annoyed me, that's the one.  People see one or two targets left and move on to the next mob, but the ones left behind are the bosses.

If you went /dark instead of empath you'd have more controls/debuffs to help get away with not doing damage on a team.

My crab is the only 50 I start paper/radio teams with, they can solo 4/8 so other people are just there to make it go faster/get xp.

 

If I'm leveling via radios it's usually +2/5 minimum, 3/8 on my tanker.  I only bump it to +4 if someone asks.

 

Task Forces I figure most people don't want to speed through, but also not have it be a slog.  Unless the team wants to do it at higher levels, I run those at +0 except for certain missions.  1st misson on Moonfire, 3rd mission on Yin, and the defeat all after the hunts on Numina are good ones to bump up to +2.

I get the level of one I already have instead of the new one all the time when converting a duplicate.

[Bugged Mission: Find Lawrence Harken]

The marker is supposed to eventually lead you back to the mission entrance.  That burning elevator one is misleading, but there is a door to the stairs just before those elevators.

 

When you say fail the mission, do you mean it doesn't let you go on to the next one or just boots you out when the timer is up and harken is dead?  Aslong as you get the orange dot to lead him out you should be able to progress with the contact.

In online games, I like having a lot of tools to help the team.  It's my only character where I don't think I'm "missing something" other than the sword I'd be using if there was an Epic Pool that offered one.
