I think I'm building one of these next and this is my first draft. I haven't played Nijitsu before but I have a couple Axe toons and really love the set!

It's a leveling build so no purps/superiors/incarnates. There are couple spots to swap purps in for extra recharge after 50 but it'll cost a little s/r resist.

    Scrapper (Battle Axe - Ninjitsu) v1.mbd 46.78 kB · 2 downloads

I'm starting to play this a little. How are you overcoming all the end usage? Is hitting kyoyo enough with the 3 aoes firing often ?

  2. Hi, I am hoping someone can point me in the direction of an old posted build for a Grav/Kin troller. I made it half way through the build and stopped playing for a bit.  I rebuilt my computer now and lost my old mids saves. The build had tons of procs in grav distortion and used expedient reinf + the KB to KD in wormhole and sing. I used the search bar and spent a few hours trying to find it with no luck. Trying to get this troller back up and running for support.

  3. I started leveling up a SM scrap and was curious where to place the CS proc? I would think it doesn't go in Seismic Smash because that's  what i really want to crit for single target. I haven't taken fault yet as I was reading the ae on it is very lack luster. I was thinking Tremor once I get that high. Any other thoughts for the best spot for it?

And as a note, don't attune Purple IOs.  PvP IOs (if you use them) shouldn't generally be attuned either, and just use level 50 ones.

That's because Purple and PvP IOs would when exempt down all the way to lvl 7.

Made the mistake on the PvP IO ones myself not knowing that, so passing that bit on 🙂

Thank you! Yeah on previous toons I have the attuned purples. I am guessing you make the purples +5 then also with the boosters?

I wouldn't double Recharge Enhance Build Up.  I would just slot the Proc and move those two slots else where.

The Performance Shifter Proc might as well be in Stamina, so you get the set bonus with the PS End Mod in Stamina.  +5 some of those Enhancements (Hasten and Energy Transfer).

I'd try and get Energy Transfer down in recharge time (I believe it's 2.77s arcanatime) so you can Energy Transfer (long) > Total Focus > Energy Transfer > Bone Smasher > Zapp > Repeat and sometimes get a that long ET, into a fast ET 🙂

Thanks. Not sure why I only had 4 in Energy transfer It should def be 5. I will swap around the PS from inexhaustible. So you were saying to 5 slot hasten?  I am going to rework a little this eve and repost but I am not sure the 5 slot hasten reasoning. Also, I am almost 48 now so not too much more to go!

  6. Here is my current build. I know I will swap around SJ in the placement but I didn't know if anyone else had any ideas or pointers? My fire and cold def are a bit too high and my others are a little low for s/l. GC takes a lot of end so some of the other sets get me in a end bind. I am lvl 46 now so not quite there but I have most of the pieces already as attuned enhancements. Any tips would be appreciated.

    It works well in teams?

For the last 10 levels or so (am 40 now) I have played solo and it's a beast but since it's so single target intensive, I felt it would have a hard time contributing to a team of that level since everything goes by so fast.

I am enjoying it on a team for sure. I do what Siolfir is saying  by targeting the bosses in the groups and run in and typically they are dead in 2-3 hits at +3-+4 diff. Everyone on the team is going to be rocking the aoe attacks it seems so if I can make the bosses be dead at the same time then it is a nice team speed increase for clearing

  8. I am running a energy/bio right now, I tried energy/nin and didn't like it all that much but with Bio it is really powerful. My aoe is pretty lack luster but in any group I just target the next group bosses and I have the boss down in generally 2 hits depending on the difficulty and the group will wipe out pretty much everything else at the same time. I am running with the cs proc in TF and when energy transfer hits.. oh man. I am lvl 41 and typically get close to 1k with build up or any team buffs.

  9. Hey everyone, I started a Energy Melee/Ninjitsu scrap here. I have previously played TW/bio and DB/bio on a stalker. I was wanting to switch up the secondary some though and I am really enjoying it in the lower levels. I searched and I haven't found any builds since the change, I was wondering if anyone has one they are willing to share or some pointers? I have seen a couple builds with nin and a couple with eng but not combined so I was kinda working on putting something together from other builds to see how they slotted there powers.

It looks like most say putting the crit strikes proc in TF? With Nin I am assuming it is best then to pop into the next group and hit with whirling hands and get the bonus crit from stealth 1st, then start off with the TF/ET on whatever boss I can find first? or is there a better attack chain? Also, I don't currently have Power Crash(the cone), is that worth it in the grand scheme of things? I am currently pretty low level but starting to have to make some big decisions here with powers. Thanks for any help

What was wrong with the one I provided you here?:

You are right, nada wrong with it and I appreciate you giving me the guidance. I was just curious for what others are running too since I haven't pieced all the build together. I had 3 different builds I ran with on my fire/ele blaster before deciding on what worked best with how I learned to play the class and such. Meant no disrespect to you and I appreciate you sharing!

  11. Hey everyone. I have played Coh back before homecoming and when I found out about here I came back. I mainly played blasters and scrappers as I liked being the one hitting big #'s from nukes or playing the op build of TW/Bio back before they brought it back to where it should be. I am coming to realize though that everyone can do damage and I have played on a few team where (I think it was) a grav troller would port ahead or do something to pull the group 2 in front of where the team was right back down to the group we were going to hit was just getting going. It was simply amazing and I never forgot it. I was looking to try and make a group support build with Grav/kin to try and buff the group up to speed through content like a boss.

    • I searched through the troller forum some but wasn't sure if there is a built that emphasizes the support and less damage from me?
    • I am not sure if I need a build with more melee def and such as I am really not sure how  how wormhole works? Is it a click targeted power like rain of fire but you have to click a second time to show where it lands?
    • Are there any good binds I can make to help out here like powexeclocation etc?
    • I see a lot of people recommending storm as a secondary with it but a lot seems to emphasize the damage it brings? Is that the main reason? I have found that no matter how much dmg I do with a fully io'd build a nuke or 3 from some others and my damage is helpful but not the main source when I play my scrappers and such. I can wipe the LT's and bosses super fast but I know my troller won't be a damage dealer at heart, I would rather buff with FS my team and continue to fuel them with more and more mobs with wormhole.

Any tips here I would appreciate and possible a link to a build or 2? I can farm for myself so I am not concerned with the cost of the build. Thanks for any and all help!

Here are some dual blades builds for scrappers and stalkers for you to check out.

Dual blades/Bio Scrapper.  Built to run blinding feint>ablaiting strike>sweeping strike on repeat.  Also built with barrier core ephipany as the destiny to cover the last bit to softcap e/n defense.  Also, has shadow meld for dicey situations.  You could go ageless if you want to for more recharge, but probably not necessary.

Dual Blades/Bio Stalker:  Built to run Build up>assassins strike>ablaiting strike>sweeping strike>power slice on repeat.  Build up will only be available some of the time, but fairly often due to the assassins mark ATO.  When build up is available this rotation will trigger the sweep combo, which is a nice pbaoe.

I actually am not sure. I think my db/bio scrapper build has 191.25 global recharge with perma hasten, which ironically is more than my db/ea scrapper build unless I’m surrounded by lots of mobs on EA. I have my db/ea scrapper to 50, but my db/bio scrapper is in his 30s. I’ve been too lazy to build it on test to see if it can run that combo. I think it’s pretty darn close to what I will need though. I’ll have to wait till I hit 50 to tell you for sure though.

Cool. ty. I am curious to see your DB/EA build when you have a chance. any help is appreciated! 🙂

I can share my db/ea builds a bit later.

Defense softcaps 45% is same for all archetypes, incarnate softcap is higher (I think 59% or something like that). Stalkers and scrappers have the same resist caps 75%.  Stalkers and scrappers also get the same armor modifiers though there are usually a couple powers that are different in the armors.

Both SR and EA will easily reach softcap on either archetype.  They also both give nice + recharge. You can build both for decent resists as well.

EA will have better endurance management and has a nice heal. It also has moderate DDR. Since it is typed defense it has a psi hole, but honestly I have never had a problem with it.

SR being positional defense does not have the psi hole. It has the best DDR you can get. It doesn’t however have native recovery and healing boosts.

Both are great sets. I personally like EA better though.

Do you by chance know how much +rech you need to run blinding feint>ablaiting strike>sweeping strike on a scrap? I am running db/bio right now and can run the BF+ vitals no prob but was looking to see what I need to run the higher dps chain.

  15. Hey, I have searched a bit through the forums but I was trying to see if anyone can help me out with if there is a bind or macro I can make to set in my tray for powers like rain of arrows and rain of fire. I am trying to see to speed up me clicking them them targeting on the ground with my mouse for the power. Something that could just auto target it a certain amount in front of me to save this step?

Close! its Wormhole from the Gravity/ Set.

Cool, thanks. Any tips to best use it or just set up a ground target the far group and then the close group and it sends us all back?

  17. Hey everyone, I am a bit of a noobie when it comes to trollers. The other day when I was grouping up on a scrap a troller joined the group and he was able to port ahead and get nearly an entire group of extra mobs and port them back directly to us. It sped up our play a ton. I was curious this is gravity dimensional shift? I haven't seen many people do this in the game so I was curious if it was this ability or something else? Seemed like a really fun thing to do and help a group out etc.

  18. I was curious if anyone could help post a build they like using? I am trying to keep defenses up as high as possible but not quite sure how to do it. I haven't played tactical arrow yet so I figured that may be a fun secondary to pair with but I am open. I have been enjoying my fire/fire/mace but looking for a little change of pace.
