Maybe I'm missing something! Like...Ice bolt and chilling ray. I skipped those for ice blast, frost breath and bitter ice blast. So maybe I picked the wrong powers, I am just 27 now. Slotting is just Invention enh, 1 accuracy, 2 damage. Bitter ice blast has two Sent ATOs and the rest I put in my ice armor powers.

I have a Ice Blast sentinel in the mid-20's. It gets played about every three months because it takes about that long for me to forget just how painful it is to play. The problem is the attack cooldown and rotation. Ice Blast is painfully slow to use, you are constantly waiting for your attacks to be available again. (I do have Hasten but I don't have it tricked out with maximum recharge IOs) The only way I can effectively level is to find a team to carry my frozen butt, solo play is very slow and painful. If a future page can improve this recharge time for Sentinels, I'd be grateful. In the meantime...I'll stick to other sentinels I enjoy more.

Sorry for the necromancy, @tidge but what is your approach for leveling this build? I'm interested in trying this out but obviously I can't start slotting lvl 50 IO's while I'm coming up.

I can't say anything definite but I will say I've found Savage to help with End-heavy builds like Shield or Dark. I just never consume my stacks of Blood Frenzy.

Hey there, I did some searching and can't find my answer so... I have a fragmentary note to myself about slotting attacks for +Disorient chance, stating that disoriented targets take extra damage. The problem is, I can't for the life of me remember of find out what powerset takes advantage of that. Can anyone help? Or am I thinking of Controllers for some reason??

I do like the idea of big big fireball! Betty's Project Will slotting also makes sense. Spines didn't work for me, visually. Ugly. But honestly...this is working better than I thought it would so far. Fury covers a multitude of flaws, damage wise. And my defenses are stronk, early. Unlike usual for me and Brutes.

I'm going to try Experimentation as that toxic dart has a really fast recharge. Sadly that locks me out of Sorcery though.

I don't have a good excuse for this as Sentinel is just sitting there staring at me, daring me to make another one. BUT...I was wondering if use and abuse of Power Pool powers combined with Brute's fury could make a Brute who focused on range damage more than melee. An inverse Blapper, if you will. Can it be done? Should it be done? Has it been done?
