    Kings Row should not have the apostrophe in the first hint. Kings Row should always be plural, in reference to the group, 'the Kings".

  5. Thanks for the help! You def called it on the common IOs, soooo desperate for end!! Thus, this call for help.

     

    I had dropped  embrace cause I wasn’t really using it much and imps just seemed to be an end waste as they’d die & need resummon so much. You’ve given me a lot to reconsider. Appreciate it!

     

    Have any links to good sample builds?

     

     

  6. I've respec'd a couple times already and still having major End issues. I love freezing big groups in their tracks and proc'ing them to dust, but I'm almost always out of blue and squishier than a blaster. Any advice?

    Are you still happy with this build? I made one myself based off your build and sure, it can tank Hami, but it dies when herding GMs and is one of the slowest killing brutes I've ever had the displeasure of playing in PvE. I've switched back to my Rad/Rad brute for all-purpose Hami/Yellow taunter/GM gathering/PvE proc monster.

    Bio Armor/Dark Melee Tanker is currently the top contender. Thanks to endurance drain and slow resistances in an auto power, it can stay stunned and not have endurance dropped to zero (hence not die). This build is currently capable of staying for almost 3 minutes taking full Hamidon + 18 mito damage until defeat.

     

    Stone Armor/Dark Melee Tanker made a good run, taking second place for tanking duration alone. It lasts around 2 minutes. Best thing of this build is stun protection (34), which allows more variety in Incarnate choices. But this is quite a hard build to play with due to movement restrictions by Granite + Rooted. Teleport is a must here. The biggest issue with this build is the lack of unresistable big heal: Earth's Embrace is their version of Dull Pain, but the heal is resistable so it doesn't work against Hami. If it did, it would surpass Bio Armor in survivability. Unfortunately, Siphon Life alone isn't enough to make this build survive for long.

     

    Dark Melee/Regeneration Brute makes third place. They have a serious issue with endurance recovery, and Ageless Destiny isn't able to protect them for long. They don't last more than 1 minute alone in the goo as all their endurance will be drained quickly and they will be unable to heal or use any powers.

     

    Dark Armor/Dark Melee Tanker makes fourth place. They last longer than Regeneration Brutes, but they have a larger number of issues. Their endurance drain protection is in a toggle, which gets suppressed when stunned. Incarnate mez protection isn't able to protect them for more than 1 minute when solo, so Clarion + Melee Hybrid has to be stacked and this is really counterproductive. Their lack of KB protection/resistance also makes it harder to build. In a league setting however, they're as good as Regeneration Brutes.

     

     

    You can remove Dark Melee/Regen Brute from the list. I leveled one up, incarnated out, & sunk a TON of inf/merits into IO sets and it not only stinks in Hami raids, it's gotta be one of the weakest PVE combos I've ever played. My Emp Defender is more fun and kills faster! If you're thinking of out trying it, just don't. Luckily I have a Rad/Rad Brute who gets the job done at Hami and any other challenge that comes their way.

    I thought this was the case, but it doesn't seem to work anymore. The attuned IO doesn't give the warning and go back to being a regular IO anymore. Unless I'm doing something wrong...

  10. Just finished the Hero-side arc and it definitely had that old CoH nostalgia feel to it!

     

    As a solo Fire/Dev blaster I normally play at +2/x4 but quickly realized that was going to be rough with +2 suicidal mega mobs so dropped to +0/x4 (losing smoke grenade really made it a challenge!)

     

    I loved the new mechanics (Cortex illusions) the new maps (VIP/attic) and the custom baddies (Glowstik! Sneaks, Zoombies, etc) Would have liked the exploding tanks in Pathogen's mission to do more splash damage. I thought they were there to soften up the baddies and purposely lured them into their range and blew them up but they barely made a dent. So, what could have been a fun tactical challenge using the environment & positioning for strategy instead became a standard head-on blitz.

     

    Only 2 gripes:

    First, in the Pathogen mission, running against the clock with wave after wave of ambushes coming at me I didn't have a chance to read the text or options on the radio to Watkins. I saw the word, "Heroic" next to a choice and clicked it in a panic then went back to saving my ass!! I had no idea what choice I made or what my other options were.

     

    2nd gripe was with the ending. After such an epic fight with Cortex and then him escaping, I find the duplicitous doctor and defeat the group around her, anticipating an epic final fight...but nope. I wanted the satisfaction of defeating the baddie but it ends with an escape and a chat. It felt unsatisfying for the lead up and amount of time invested.

     

    Still, there's a lot to like in the arc and it's a great addition to the game.

    I'll try it again later today and see if restarting the mission makes it work, but just be aware it looks like it can bug out.

    I only got the "hand" to click it by hovering over the outside edge of the computer screen. The front of the screen was unclickable.

  12. I still don't see Cimerora on the list. Can we add it as a destination or at least have one that drops you off at a Univeristy so it's a quick jaunt to Midnighter's Club? Heck, make one for Midnighter's club and you hit 3 birds with one stone (poor birds)

     

    EDIT: I just did some zone hopping and noticed Croatoa & Founders drop at the Uni for Heroes and Cap at the Uni for Villains so I guess it's all good.
