  1. My pick is a blaster all the way. Why need to worry about super def/resist when you can take out the bad guy from a far. Most blasters secondary has some sort of resist/def/recov/regen in it. Add in the Fighting pool and Leadership and you can handle most Ranged/AoE/Melee. Not great resist/def but enough to keep you killin.

  2. I could see this being useful. I rescently made a AoS for Sunday SG play and I took Time Bomb or whatever it's call for the soilders but it was pointless when the rest of the team had the mobs kiled before the damn thing even would go off.  Wasted effort and end. I respec'd out of it. We are currently in our mid 40s not kitted out 50s.

A change would be nice to a power that sucks in my opinion. Make it remote/destrutable or shorten the time.

For now it'll remain as a power I CAN take and not a power I DID take.

  3. New players would freak the hell out if they had to deal with real debt not this shadow of debt we get now. The good ole days when you get 100% debt at level 5 not half debt startin at level 10. The kind of debt that allows you to have all the debt badges by level 8.

Fun times when your first toon was a blaster and you knew shit about the game.

Be happy with what you got when it's gone in a kill or two.

  4. Y'all need nicer SG leaders. I refill the lockers every two weeks and I rarely buy any salvage from the AH. I just play and I get tons of common, uncommon, and rare salvage to keep them filled. The rest I vender.

Amount of Inf spent on salvage = 0 and I still make good Inf from venderin the common and uncommon to keep my low lvl toons fightin the good fight.

Fine ditch the immob resistance if Weave is chosen without a kick or boxing attack

    Tough remains unchanged

That is kinda screwin most ATs out of a resist to one of the most common mez.

There are pros and cons for each side of this, some good and some bad. However, I personally can't agree with this one.

Cut a third of the resist and def to Tough and Weave to avoid gettin Punch/Kick. Most people won't like that idea either but it adds balance to the game or we can leave the pool as is. Fighting has been here since the game began and people have learned to work around taking a power that most people feel is useless so I personally don't see a reason to change it.

We are merely a handful of players speakin for hundreds if not thousands of other players and we really don't have the right to do so, or at least that is what OP told me once.

  6. @Gray Oracle You have talent and a great imagination, I just wished you hadn't wasted your time on environment and focused more on the 2D part. Honest, it is amazing piece of art that is well put together and I'll admit you created something that I wouldn't of been able to do but that is why I didn't enter this contest.

If I wished you luck it's cause I meant it, if you believe it or not.

With all that said I will be lookin forward to your 3D base.

mine is kinda a long mural, start on left side as you enter follow wall around, environment  is just to set the mood for the mural. :))

Hmm. You present the base code as Dinorama, when you enter the base it feels like a diorama which is a 3d style of art. If you were to remove the enviroment there wouldn't be much there to show. If I was a judge (which i'm not) you would be DQ'd. Good luck on the 2D contest.

I don't level after 50, so the incarnate stuff is totally outside my experience.  And please don't suggest I try it. I'm not gonna not ever again.

I don't tell people how to play their toons. If you are happy with how you play your toon then how am I to tell you how to do it. However,  I will offer suggestions only when asked.

I think it should summon a really big quinjet that divides into smaller pods (and some of the pods have ray guns that go FREEEEEEEM!)

[my opinion of group fly can best be illustrated by the fact that I turn it off via Null the Gull for every character I have]

    I second this! FREEEEEM!

  10. Did you hit F3 to enable clipping? It allows you to build outside of the base.

    ALT - Rotates items

    Shift - Will raise items

Alt+Shift/CRTL will change items on their axis.

F1 - Will change your Grid size from 0, 1/4,1/2,1,2, and 4 inches.

F2 - Is your Angle Snap which will change the degrees you can rotate an item.

    F3 - Enables Room Clipping

F5 - Changes the attachment of an item. Wall, Ceiling, Floor, and Surface

Those are the basic Key Controls that allow you to work within the base.

    Hope that helps.

This never occurred to me. I have no argument against Boosters dropping, except that I have never felt that I was missing much by them not dropping.... and one +1 booster would excite me about as much as one Enhancement converter (not much)... of course they could be sent to the market, but my builds are eventually going to use them.

This wouldn't be a priority for me, as it is nearly trivial for players (even with solo, low-level characters) to quickly run content (assuming zone exploration badges have been collected) to collect enough merits to buy a Booster (or a couple of Unslotters) from a merit vendor. IIRC each starting zone has at least one quickly repeatable (~6 minute) arc that gives at least 5 merits. The SSA1 (Theoden) arc can be rerun in about that time (all ATs) for 5 merits each run... not counting the 20 merits for first time and first weekly repeat.

I don't do enhancement boosters on all my toons. But ones that I feel deserver it can be costly. 5 Boosters for 25 merits x 90 or so hancers can be extremely expensive merit or Inf wise. Buidin up merits isn't an issue, I run tfs a lot and there are plenty of arcs that drop a good amount of merits.

The fact is if I or anyone wanted to boost every hancer (exception to Procs and ones that are catalysts imbued) we can only get them through a ATM (whatever it is called red) or AH.

Open them as drops since every other piece is able to drop within game.

  12. I posted on honoroitisfantastic what's your pressing issue? but it is showing me that I posted in Official unofficial Weekly discussion.  I have never post anything on that thread and if you click on it, it shows the UltraAlt was the last person that commented.
