  1. When would you like to run it? WST's are not like the itrials. So anytime you get in the mood you can solo it, duo it, or a full team it. Give a shout in LFG chat, i'm sure someone would jump on it.

    I am on at 930a EST and play roughly until noon. Maybe not every day, however, i play a lot.

  2. I bought an IBuyPower computer today. Was wondering if this pc is worth the money I put into it? It is lackin a hard drive but otherwise it appears brand new.

    I have no stats on  chip or memory cards, so I cannot be any help with that. Vid card is a ryzen 4000.

    Not much of a tech person so forgive my ignorance.

    Would appreciate any replies.

    Jasper was referring to the Patron Power Pools. 🙂

    Not the blue stuff.

    A new player may get them confused and assume that you have to do that for Hero side as well, when they don't have to. Then the question comes up as to where are the Blue Side Patrons which there isn't any.

    A major wish list item for myself is to have some of the basic mission maps available as a base option.  The cargo ships, some basic caves, council, longbow and vanguard bases, the busted up faultline bases, etc.

    All of which can be made with the exception of the cargo ship, but wait, you can make a battle ship base. Just need time and a little imagination.

    That doesn't fix the problem. That prevents it from occurring at all. A fix would be preventing this from occurring when a respec is done.

    And you are correct, however it has been doin that for a long time... a long time. I can only guess that the Devs know about it and have known about it for a long min. It must not be on the top of their list as a QoL problem otherwise they would of fixed it by now.  So, all I can offer is don't have hover or fly on while doin a respec.

  7. I was runnin my Defender with my wife this afternoon when A box appears on my screen sayin I have received a Character email. (I was hopin it was the merits and emp merits to fix my Blaster that got gutted last Monday).

    I've bought a Winter Pack or two so I know all about character emails. I just thought it was strange that I get one in the middle of an arc mish.

    I know there are new rewards being handed out for team stuff but I thought that was for team tf/sf stuff.Screenshot2024-02-21195029.png.b9b1837822659198579dad2abf42c5e5.png

    The arc I am currently runnin is Coleen Nelson - A Path Into Darkness.

    Anyone think that have an idea, cause I don't.

  8. I guess I'm the exception.  I simply told them that emailin me out of the blue was rude but in a nice way. I offered them a few wise words on how to accumulate funds that will last and then I emailed them 250 million. In return emailed me back thanking me for my generosity and asked a few questions about game play, recipes, & enhancements.

    I remember that at one point it was the kindness of others that helped me when I returned to the game. I'm sure everyone remembers those days of startin out on a new game and havin nothing but the toon you made.

    I did offer and the person I offered it to never replied so over all I lost what I planned to give away anyhow.

  9. Wall cracks and smaller rubble piles.

    Currently I am workin on a base  and the theme is a recaptured base that is in ruin. Tryin to work with massively large rubble piles  so it don't take up more of the base then the base itself is tricky. The small trash piles within Slums & Waste works but at times they are too small. I could use small letters but that would devour tons of time to place them through out the base.

    TBH, I know this will never come to be and really I'm just talkin to myself but it's something I'd like to see added in.

    Vet levels.  Every third gives you 20 (until 100).

    This is incorrect.  Once you hit 50 vet lvl 3, it starts dropping 20 emp merits. However, after vet lvl 25 or so (give or take a vet lvl or so) the emp merits drops start to diminish until it only drops 5 pre vet lvl and ends at vet lvl 99.

    It is a great way to earn the 78 emp merits to purchase the threads for common, uncom, rare, and very rare. But.... One toon cannot generate enough emp merits to completely do all incarnates  to T4. :classic_sad:

    This is when DA comes into play. Runnin or farming certain arcs will help fill in some of the incarnate pieces that it takes to finish them.

    And let's not forget the I-trials. Completion of any of the trials will give an emp merit and a random incarnate piece as a reward.

    The DA mish doesn't have an 18/20?hr reset timer like the trials do so keep that in mind.

    @Etched

  11. Play a lot after 50 or run DA arcs. Some of the arcs will drop/offer them as rewards for finishin the arc.

    Heather Townsend is an pretty easy arc to speed through. The arc reward Is 1 emp merits and a random incarnate salvage.

  12. When I logged in this mornin I check my game email like I normally do,  to my surprise and slight aggravation, there was a new email from blah blah blah. The users name is not important.  Anyhow,  the email asked nicely if I would donate funds to a new player.

     Not the same person.

    I posted recently on another post that I would be happy to help them out since they were new to the game and inf was limited.

    Sooo.

    My question is this, how would any of y'all handle this situation?

    @Etched

  13. I'd say there are useful attack procs, such as knock back, knock back to knock down, immobilize, or hold. Especially for the ranged type toons. Otherwise I think they're talkin out their butts and relying on damage only to get them through a fight and not skill. When to joust, when to put some space between yourself and the enemy, or when to plow the mob. These are what clear the map.

    My 2 cents.

    Some serious mad props on this!  The verticality of it must have been super frustrating at times, but worth it in the end.  And the NPCs!  I spent a few hours just trying to get 5 NPCs in the right spot.

    One question, and this may be my lack of understanding with the new base building but, I don't see a map.  Is there a way to freeform completely?

    There is, you can open the ceilin and build above the main base and then fill in the rooms below completely, erasing the map.  You'll still be able to build as the main base has become pretty much a platform. You will have to enable the room clippin to be able to place items on the exterior.

    @Etched

  15. @Cyclone Jack I walked through your awesome base a little bit ago and it really a awesome base. Great blendin to hide the exterior walls. With that being said I did come across a couple things that you may want to fix.

    Guests are able to see and jump over part of this section of wall and also make it to outside of the base. You may want to add in a Collision Wall over this room and something to cover this hole.

    The base is very fluid as you go from one room to the other, which in my book of build is supreme. No hang ups as you traveled and the teleporters were well disguised. One thing I'd like to mention is 0 Grid placement. You had some items, not many but enough for my eye to catch, that were kinda floatin above the ground. Mostly Shrubs and would be an easy fix. With that being said it is an outstandin base.

    Keep up the great work and I look forward to your next build. 🙃
