  1. Yeah. I figured that was also a major contributing factor. Heck, just to get it over and done with, I would be more than happy to run that one (and Faathim) at -1 Surprisingly, the Moore I was on a couple nights ago actually went pretty fast, thanks to a generous amount of team transports and Assemble the Teams and such.
  2. My only forays into PvP zones is in the course of getting all the day jobs. Then I just stay at the base (away from the Black Helicopter) until the day job is done.
  3. Just spent about an hour failing to get a QF task force on Roc and Roll (No way am I going to try to run one of those myself, having never done it before that I can recall. Was barely able to keep up on the Sara Moore I lucked into a couple days ago) Taking a 420 and reading break out on the porch then will try again.
  4. And everyone it rolls over gets Top Dog (if for some reason they haven't already got it) :)
  5. And now Everlasting and Excelsior are down...
  6. For a new player, I advise experiencing the content on the way up. There are plenty of great old story arcs and one off missions to experience, and other than story arcs and badge missions, there are a lot that you can't flashback (some that award various temp powers as well). Plus, with story arcs, running them as they become available has the advantage of not limiting your teaming options as you progress (flashbacks lock you into TF mode, meaning once started, you can add others to the team) I am actually running several characters that have not taken any double experience at all, some to hit various arcs and other missions as they level, and a couple others hitting all the TFs or SFs on the way up. Roc and Roll just hit 41, and is the one hitting all the TFs. He just did Market Crash, and now to get caught up, needs Hannon, Quarterfield, and Moore. I am hoping I get those knocked out before the L44 TFs come up. Been trying for days to get a Hannon, and no luck whatsoever (don't have it unlocked myself) Going to try again after this little late 4:20 break...
  7. Ugh, can't imagine trying to multibox myself. I do like how on Everlasting (so far, only ever seen it on MSRs, especially instanced ones) the League leader will set the ground rules in advance, effectively, everyone fights; nobody leeches. If you have to go AFK, say so. For ToT leagues, the team leaders are told they can go ahead and boot obvious AFKers if need be. All in all, should be the league lead's rules whether AFKers should be booted or allowed to leech. All leagues I've been on have been pretty good and everyone just has fun, with plenty of on and off topic banter in the mix. The Rat City hosted MSR that just finished was a blast, by the way. Need to finally get my own Macarena Mouse into that group soon(tm)
  8. Can we presume Everlasting is not going to come back up tonight? I would play on Excelsior, but haven't played any characters there in ages, and don't think I even know anyone there nowadays. For now though, time to get in a late 4:20 out on the porch...
  9. Yep. Same here. Was in the D when it happened. Glad I hadn't got started on anything yet.
  10. I remember hearing a BP mask in a radio mission in Faultline pop off with that one back on Live. When I asked about it on the forums, I was informed that it was from a dirty joke, and then the discussion became what I call the Punchlines thread. Even Matt Miller, Posi himself chimed in to say how much he was loving that thread. Sadly, can't find it anywhere archived on the 'net nowadays.
  11. To quote my own Speedster, Johnny Faster (formerly Generic78882354 until he removed his middle name, Fokker, from his registration), "I'm trying! I'm trying!"
  12. Most recent surprises for me were Magical Squirrel, Magical-Squirrel, and like ohmyghod! Valley Squirrel.
  13. Would it be possible to fix the chainmail skirt on all body types so it doesn't turn the legs into scrawny little brooksticks? That makes it pretty much unusable.
