Very disappointed that this change was published, why bother with feedback threads when the feedback is ignored? At the very least an announcement that the patch was going to go live or something should have been done, now I sit on a ton of merits that are to me useless.

Back in the olden days I used to run a SS/fire brute farmer, I'd like to give it a shot but not only do I not have a copy of my old build but I'm not even sure its viable in the current version of the game. Was wondering if anyone can give me any input or ideally a build to get me started.

Going to echo what a lot have already said, not sure why this change is taking place. you are taking away an option for the entire player base in order to add an incentive for incarnate trials? Seems like throwing the baby out with the bath water. If the idea is to discourage AE farming then I also think it will miss the mark, if I can't use empyrean merits to get catalyst or converters then I'm going to need to farm more in order to be able to purchase those items from other players. Just kind of at a loss overall.
