  1. I love been thrown around like a ragdoll. I think it's so amusing when I'm flung out of a fight, and have to run back in.  A lot of people slot to remove knockback, but I'd love the ability to simply make it recover faster. maybe on knockback, you hop up almost instantly. maybe you just land on your feet. I don't know. I like the idea of it

I wish agile powersets like super reflexes would include it in their defenses, and that either a pool or enhancement did this so I can keep being thrown out of fights without causing much of a slow down 🙂

I would loooove it if super reflexes had "stand up from knockdown faster". For whatever reason my mind is endlessly amused when my SR tanker is flung out of the fight like a ragdoll, then gets up and goes back to it. People advise me to slot to immunity to knockdown, but I love the character of it.

I would LOOOOOVE if some part of SR made you 'almost instantly' leap up ready to go so that your cute little SR character can get ragdolled out of the fight, then leaps up and runs back in. so flavorful!

  3. Recently I did the crafter badge to completion to earn the workbench (and memorize the recipes). i kept almost all the enhancements i had to make for the SG to enjoy on their alts. it was INSANE how much I made and how much of the bases storage capacity this took up.

Unfortunately, it’s been said quite a few times that increasing storage capacity in SG bases is not possible.  Paragon Studios apparently tried and bases blew up spectacularly.

I know that this is the real reason but i have a serious question for the staff on this. if we can't have a storage box that stores things like a cute mmo container. could we not have a 'vendor' who 'buys' them from you (for zero) and then "sells" from that stock?  shouldn't it be easy to 'keep stock' of what number of each thing a vendor has sold to it? it seems like a normal mmo sort of activity.

the same with salvage. SG's should be able to heap up simple white salvage to the sky in a vendor-like situation. I know having 44 storage boxes each holding 100 items may break the base, but...vendors should work right?

Yes please! I love rad melee but man do some of those powers feel like they need a reduction in animation time.

to emphesize this , i wanted to add. I played a water melee blaster briefly and i was IN LOVE with the powerset. For no more reason that when i hit a button, the effect happened in a half second. it was glorious. i would prefer if most powersets work like this, ESPECIALLY melee where some times you run up to and by foes. i know build up can be thematically apropriate but "hit person hard with fist" should happen fast. balance things, but let the game be fluid and smooth.

  5. Idea: Basecode-base-teliporters!

You put them in your base. look like whatever. when you click on them, they open a menu like zone teleporters, but send you to  bases that are configured by the base editor.   they do not reveal the passcode.

So, for example if your SG base is a high tech cavern. you could make a "portal" in it, that takes you to the magical demiplane floating in the sky.  anyone in your base can walk up to that portal and click it without knowing the passcode.

this could give the illusion to larger, 'multi area' bases. OR it could give some one the ability to make their own little hubs without having to remember all their codes. OR it could be used to grant people temporary access to a base without changing the passcode.

  6. I try to always roleplay and stay in character! but if i'm playing a character who can't play the game like normal i use the little ((out of character talk)) to move things along. I have one character who is effectively unable to speak, so i just (( )) all the group talk that has to happen to play.  That being said some times when i play I just lazy rp around, and other times when i can actually focus and play the game i'll join a TF or group and try my best to keep it moving.

  7. I would love it if some of the more interesting structures had internal space, or were doors to SGbase style spaces. I like walking around the actual world instead of going into base portals to enter RP spaces. I always thought it would be great if you could designate a superhero space as "being a door in world" and then making it accessable by clicking that door all the time. naturally it's not something you'd always want, but it would be nice if the city felt alive.

I'd love more costume options of course. stockings on feet which can then go in small shoes. more hair styles, more makeup for faces with much of it broken up so your eyes don't match your lips.

I wouldn't mind some bus stops. within the same zone you click on a bus stop, and move to another spot in the zone instantly, for those really long zones.

i would also LOOOOOVE if furniture in SG bases and in the world could be 'snapped to'. like you walk up to it, click on it. little menu, pick lady-like sit animation, then you sit in it correctly without having to jump on it an adjust

i woulud also love a lot more sit/chair/bench/ledge sit animations for varoius styles of character.

  8. Thank you all for the good information! i'll use this going forward.

I ended up making a warmace / shield!  I play with a tanker and corruptor friend so. i've been focusing on just smashing things with the mace. it's pretty fun so far, i'm eager for the weird shield powers, they sound very fun. I played a mace tanker back in origional city of heroes for most of my time there and i always told myself i'd want to try one as a scrapper. that's a large contributor to  my choice :)

i think i'm level 12 now? it's fun so far.

  9. Hello!

I never played a scrapper on live or here yet, but I kind of want to, to play with a team. Does anyone have a link, or be willing to give a sort of a scrapper break down? I'd like to know what the different primary and secondary are good at? maybe some tips on which are considered great and which are considered a little sluggish.

thank you anyone who contributes  to the discussion. I'm really out of it on scrappers , but would love to learn more!

I'm of the belief that Paragon City uses a different system of measuring than real life, but that happens to share the same names as Imperial units of distance.

6' is definitely an average height.

that was my running theory as I grew to accept my short-ness. I was perhaps average across the setting's planet, but that the heroic stock in paragon city were just a foot taller than the average. hee
