  1. Yeah I think this is where I'm heading. I'm testing out Rad (without Meltdown), and skipping Gash and Taunt from the secondary. Bio is just not suited for what I want to do - Bio wants to use a lot of power picks to build up both Def and Res, and if you don't lean in hard, the build doesn't come together. So I'm going to try a Res-only set with CJ/Hasten/Fighting and Fold Space, see where that takes me.
  2. Fantastic, thank you very much. So that frees up at least one pool power 😄
  3. Okay maybe I'm mistaken... which is the power that lets you run/stealth to the end of a mission and teleport your team to you, so you can kill the boss and get out? That's the one I want. And also Fold Space, the one that brings all the bad guys in the room into melee range with you so the Blasters can deal with them easily.
  4. Hello Homecoming! I'm looking for a Tanker armor set (to pair with Battle Axe) that does the following things: Good for general content (not looking to Fire farm or do 4* TFs) Can reach (or get close to) caps when slotted with best-in-slot enhancements Is fun to play at all levels and doesn't NEED to be 50 and fully-slotted to be fun Requires as few primary powers as possible I'd really, really like to build a Tanker who has room for both Team Teleport and Fold Space in the Teleportation tree, but that requires four pool powers. Tanker sets like Bio that want all 9 of their primary powers don't really have room for that many pool picks, so I'm wondering if there's an armor set that is reasonably resilient without needing to take all its powers. Any ideas?
  5. Ah I might have had two builds up and looked at the wrong one, sorry. I'm using Hasten, Combat Jumping, Boxing/Tough/Weave. Rather than Soul Mastery, I did end up taking Stealth/Infiltration/Grant Invisibility for an extra 3% Def from Stealth and 3x LotG mules. My build is attached (I don't have all those purple IOs yet - something to work towards). Once I get my incarnates, I figure I can move the slots from Inexhaustible and Stamina somewhere else. Hopefully, the End problems and general squishiness will also start to go away 😄 Tanker (Bio Armor - Battle Axe).mbd
  6. Coincidentally, I'm also working on a Bio/BA Tanker. I just hit 50 last night and I'm trying to plan my build. Bio seems like a very slot-hungry powerset... you want all nine powers and they all want slots (except maybe Inexhaustible). As a result, I have a hard time finding slots for Pool powers that also want them. @Xandyr I checked out the build you posted and it seems like you hit ran into a similar problem - you've got Gloom and Dark Obliteration on there, but not really slotted. Thoughts? Should we take slots of out powers like Ablative Carapace in favor of Dark Obliteration or Maneuvers? Maybe skip the Patron Power entirely and take a couple Stealth powers to act as single-slot LotG Def/Rech% mules?
  7. Hello friends! Returning player here with some questions. I'm currently a L38 Nature/Storm Defender, my highest-level character. Most guides I look at are focused on far endgame when you can fully slot with crafted set IOs, but I'm just trying to figure out how to choose and slot my powers. My goal is an entirely team-focused Defender. I'm not interested in soloing on this character, so while damage can be helpful for speeding up mission and TF fights, I don't feel like I need to craft my build around DPS output. I'm a min/maxer and I'm most interested in picking powers that are good and helpful rather than building around a character concept. That said: 1. What pool powers are helpful? I've got Hasten and my travel power. Are Maneuvers/Tactics still good? Any hidden gems I should check out? 2. For folks familiar with Nature Affinity - which powers do you recommend six-slotting, and with what? My enhancements are all over the place right now 🙂 3. Thoughts on Epic power pools? Any must-haves? Thank you, and good luck out there!
