Fairly new to blasters, 100% new to Storm Blast and pretty new to Ninja Training. Looked through JJDrakken's huge build thread, didn't see a single Storm/Ninja Blaster build on there and searched through multiple pages of the forums and haven't seen anything like this there either. Was hoping any of ya'll experience Storm and/or Ninja users could put together a hover blasting Storm/Ninja build. I don't mind doing some melee, but plan to hover most of the time for ease of battlefield awareness and defense. I'm a very big novice when it comes to putting together builds with Mids. Thanks to anyone who takes the time to read this and help with advice or builds!

What would be your take on a Dom with the new AR/AR setup, skipping the melee strikes for pure ranged, and taking hover/flight for travel? Started one up and enjoying it but getting an optimized build from someone who's way more knowledgeable than I am about the game, sets, mechanics, etc would be a nice guide to sorta follow and build towards. Thanks JJDrakken and anyone else that may have advice on em. I'm completely new to Doms, but I know perma-dom is their key.

What would you say is the best AT for Dual Pistols? I've not played one since Live really and I've really got a hankering for it, but I'm nowhere near skilled enough in build making as I used to be and only just recently returned to playing here. Only real request aside from Dual Pistols is that it includes Hover and Fly. Thanks for all the hard work you do for the community!

Invul Tanker help needed with a weapon set for secondary

I haven't had much opportunity to play the last few days, so I'm still only level 14 or so, but would either of you mind showing a build example? I don't know what's skippable and what isn't for Battle Axe. I think I took the T1 and does seem most suggest the T2 over it instead? Only level 14 but the little bit of group stuff I've done I've already felt fairly sturdy. Looking forward to getting the aoe's and the pull in with Axe Cyclone or whatever it's called! -
Invul Tanker help needed with a weapon set for secondary

For a more casual play at it atm, what would a good cheaper IO build look like for Invul/Battle Axe? I'm brand new to both sets, and I know pretty much all of Invul is taken except maybe the T9 I see left off some. I plan on taking fly/hover, combat jumping for cheap defense and Defense slot, and taking the Taunt for group play ease. Got the character to 10-11 last night in a couple quick DFB's to try out how I like it so far and it doesn't feel too bad and I know it'll get better as I get more attacks and things from Invul. So far I have the T1 and 3 from BA, all but the health clicky from Invul so far, and no other pool powers yet. Appreciate all the advice you all have been giving me, as I'm fairly new to most powersets, to tanking and even though I had a good amount of time in Live before servers all went down, spent most of it on just a couple characters and that was a very very long time ago. I don't have a lot of time back on Homecoming yet. -

I didn't really mean that DA was the ONLY thing leaning me towards Katana, but I didn't really say it well, ha. I knew it was a good reason for it but that Katana also has a lot of other good attacks, it's quick and can lead to some pretty decent damage and proc loading from what I've read. I've also heard good things about the newly changed Battle Axe and it having a unique ability to actually pull in mobs with it's aoe. That'd have to be a new consideration too I suppose. And I'd still also sort of like to see how Dual Blades could play out on a Tanker with it's much wider cones inherent, but I don't know enough about Dual Blades to know what is actually needed and not as a Tanker compared to the speed demon setups of every other class with it. Still though, appreciate the feedback and advice from you all! -

Appreciate the replies, and yeah, I'd seen that tier list and that it included a few weapon sets. I was sorta leaning towards Katana just for Divine Avalanche alone helping to shore up some defense as well, so I really appreciate the build. With Dual Blades, I've always sorta loved it but I know it's more nuanced with recharge anymore and people don't even suggest following the combos and just doing the feint, ablating, sweep, ablating, repeat combo, but I would think having Sweep on a Tanker for bonus cone size would be pretty amazing. I'd really love to see some builds for that as well if anyone has any! I'm an absolute novice when it comes to making builds in Mids, I don't know near enough sets, when to slot procs, etc. Titan Weapons is one I've tried a handful of times but just can't get past the teens with it dealing with the super slow animations even though it does nice things. -
As title is stating, looking to start my first real try and an Invul tanker, and wanting to pair it with a weapon set that has the option to actually display on character, just for some extra flavor. I'd also like to use fly/hover as travel/combat defense power choice. I'm seeing lots of mentions of Hyperstrike builds but haven't been able to find any that list weapon powersets for secondary and/or have Fly. In the past I've done a few tankers and enjoyed them but feel it's time for the original tanky tanker with Invul. Thanks in advance for any help, advice, suggestions, etc that are given, they are much appreciated!

So, been a few years since I've played on Homecoming but have a few friends coming back. Been kind of curious about returning as well with a new character and been thinking about a Fire/Bio Sentinel so I can have good ranged damage near that of a blaster outside of the nuke, but having the defenses that I can be a bit more lazy while relearning the game, and I remember Bio had a passive speed boost that could be used to super boost Hover speeds to near Fly level for hover blasting. Not seeing too many threads on Fire/ and only Fire/Bio build I'm seeing is from 4 years ago I believe? Read that Psy offers a great power in Dominate for epic pool. Any veteran Sentinels out there able to offer some advice or a build for a Fire/Bio/Psy Hover focused Sentinel? Any tips, advice, builds, etc is much appreciated!

Really appreciate the response Croax, been using your builds to feed my altoholic addiction, and was following the CJ/SS version but I'm addicted to Fly so I am glad to be able to change up while still following your guidance!

Nope, just has runspeed/endurance redux in SS and LotG in CJ so I can swap those out for sure. I'm still following Croax's build for Psi/Stone and digging it so far, but I would really love to be able to drop Combat Jumping and Super Speed for Fly and Hover as I just love the verticality and control they provide over Super Speed. I'm garbage at making my own builds as I've been away from the game for so long so I really do not know the ins and outs of the new sets/etc. Does anyone have a Psi Melee/Stone setup using Fly and Hover or willing to throw one (or a cheapo one + end game one) together? Funds are not very prevalent atm, so I'm going to be taking awhile to get this build truly going as I don't have any 50's yet. I appreciate any and all feedback, tips, suggestions or builds!

Made a slight change, got my S/L/M defenses up some while still maintaining high resists, just gave up a bit of recovery, not sure if that's worth it. If anyone can offer some advice, Dual Blades/Dark Armor help seems non existent here on forums.
