  1. I believe having all the clues with Shady Crey-d and Not So Pointless Death are enough to get the badge, someone else above mentioned that combo working. I know there's some flexibility in missing a few clues, but I don't know the exact details, so I just listed every clue possible.
  2. Dunno for sure since I've never gotten it, but the rumor I've heard is...
  3. My best guess is, there are other things you can do that West disapproves of, and I don't know each and every one. You might've aggravated her too much if you asked too many questions or criticized her or flirted with her as Rikmach said. Usually I can still get the clue even if I ask a few questions if I did Alien speech/Keep you laughing/Skulls thing was clever, but I don't know where the threshold is.
  4. I've done the arc on multiple characters including ones I did all 3 external contacts through Flashback only, and still gotten the badges. 2 things I can think of: - If you're doing Erin West's arc via flashback, you have to go talk to the contacts in person. They won't show up in your Inactive Contacts to call, but if you have the Souvenirs and walk up to them in person they should talk to you. Their locations are in the guide. - To talk to Tavish Bell, you need to complete both of his arcs: The Code Merlin and Vigilante Justice. Make sure you've done both, and try it again. (You can also still get the badges with just Six and Uqua and skip Bell, if you collect all their clues.) If Tavish won't talk to you after you've done both... I dunno, could be a bug, consider reporting it.
  5. I believe all you have to do is compete Adelard Ziegler's arc. He's a bluesude KW contract, he should show up in find contact.
  6. Yeah, I know it's out of the way but I thought things might change before it comes out of Beta.
  7. Thanks to @Velvet_Violet for writing this arc and advice and @Globetrotter for advice and feedback! Spoilers ahead! The new Erin West Rogue arc in Kallisti Wharf, Cutting Back Old Growth, has two badges for optional objectives. It is possible to get both in one run, but it will depend on your choices and dialog during missions as well as having some story arcs completed before starting. Here is what you need to do for both badges: Bonus Guide: The Alternate Endings (Spoilers) Bonus bonus guide: There is an additional Easter Egg with Ravenstorm. I have no idea how to get it.
  8. Well, Petrograd loves "requisitioning" villain gear for tinkering for his comrades. I figure there'd be a defense or res power that puts armor plates from Crey, the Council bots, etc jankily over your costume, especially if this is a power you could use on teammates kind of like the MM minion upgrades. Then probably some stolen villain weapon blasts and plastic explosives, again preferably given to teammates. An air support summon, maybe a Longbow Chaser, would also be good.
  9. This is an *extremely* niche issue and not a big deal, but for Dark Armor animations in the style Soul Noir with Eyes (Cover of Darkness and a few other powers), if I'm wearing a Prismatic Aether costume (specifically Freakshow Rikti Tank, haven't tested others), when you change zones the glowing eyes disappear. If I turn the aether costume off and on again they come back. So far this only seems to happen with the aether costume equipped. Images in spoilers.
  10. Ended up going Dark/Dark, thought I'd share.
  11. Hey folks, appreciate the feedback! I realized I could use the Beta server to test out different versions and even see how the powers look up to 50, and thought I would share my results. For a normal Freakshow tank (claw and hammer): - Super Strength is closest to the original feel, very chunky. It also has the boulder throw I think they use. - Energy Melee has similar animations to Super Strength and a bit more variety, so it works out well. - Claws is a good alternative if you want the powers to look a little more aggressive. The Widow claws are small enough that they're mostly hidden inside the costume. - Electric Melee is ok if you like its animations, its just not as brutal-looking as the other sets. - I wasn't too happy with Savage Melee, it made the most sense on paper but in practice the hunched over posture and the speed of the swings just look a little goofy on the tank model. For the Freakshow Rikti Tank (Freakshow tank but with a Rikti sword and blaster as arms), I tried all of the above plus Psychic Blade, Electric Melee, Energy Melee, and Dark Melee: - Dark Melee (tinted green) had the most Rikti-weapon-ish feel, plus it gives you a lot of green glows when you use drains, which feels kinda Rikti-ish. - Psychic (tinted green) was a decent alternative, the animations don't line up perfectly but it does look like you're cutting loose with plasma. - For Energy Melee the animations don't really line up with the weapons. - Electric was again OK, just not exactly on point. I also think there's a lot of potential to play this as a blaster/sentinel with the arm-gun, but I'm a bit too lazy to try out different blaster sets, at least tonight. Edit: There's also a Freakshow Noise Tank costume (speakers on head, two sickle hands), didn't consciously test it but I'm betting claws would look good. I also tried different armors (Electric, Dark, and Regeneration), and they're all... fine? Electric makes a the most sense, but I really want to run a set with a self-rez, which I guess is Dark, Firey, Regeneration or Willpower. Last thought, I recommend changing your Inherent costume stance to Parkour, Blitz, or (if you're feeling sassy) Ninja. The normal run animation looks a little silly on the tank.
  12. Hey folks. With Prismatic Aether costumes being a thing, I thought it might be fun to play as a Freakshow tank, just leave the costume on at all times. I was wondering if anyone had tried this before, and if you had advice for what melee power set looks good with the basic tank or Rikti tank costumes. I thought Savage Melee made the most sense, but when I made a char and put on the Tank costume it looked kinda... floppy. I'm kinda reluctant to roll a bunch of chars and waste 10 aether on each one to find out what looks good.
  13. Thank you all, this is very helpful! Are there any powers in gravity that are skippable, in your opinion? I feel like I don't use Crush or Crushing Field much (my single-target rotation is Gravity Distortion, Lift, and Propel, and multitarget I'm usually dropping traps), and I feel like I don't really understand how to use Dimension Shift.
  14. Hey folks, I recently made my first troller, a Grav/Traps, and without much thought I've taken nearly every power in both sets. I was wondering what y'all thought were the key/best powers, or how you generally play this combo if you do. As a side note, I've noticed that when I Wormhole enemies onto my traps, Singularity has a bad habit of blowing them all away before the mines go off. I'm considering slotting a KB->Knockdown into Singularity, but I also like not dying from stacks of melee enemies, so I'm a bit torn. Do y'all think it's worth slotting KB->KD, or would that even work? Edit: Also, what Pool powers or Epic powers are worth taking? Thanks.
  15. I really enjoy making bedrooms for my characters, it kinda lets you play more with character after the costume and ID. I thought I'd share mine, and see if anyone else has this habit. Greta Gobbo is an anarchist fae goblin who likes pretty dresses, so she took over a bunk in the barracks. Need to put the loot somewhere. Geigeress is a Xenomor... I mean Warshade, also in the barracks, her bunk isn't exactly typical. Then I've got several Mutalorians, they're from bunkers in a Hamidon world so they're used to snug quarters. Oouod likes to preserve mutated life and forge armor. Perge Sequar is a flighty teen with a gunsmithing habit, so of course his room is a sty. Oxidist is an ex-Hamidon entity made of living thermite, so for everyone's safety he has to chill out. How about y'all, anyone else make homes for their folks?
