  1. Thank you for all the effort you put into this. Misery loves company and people can feel so useless that they envy you to the point they want to drag you down. That said, how do you feel about your Storm/MA Corr build on 58? Still good? I rolled one tonight to take advantage of the ToT event and kind of fell in love with the character concept. Edit: I'm respeccing to this build now but swapping out hover/fly for combat jump/teleport for thematic reasons. But would I be kneecapping myself because hover blasting would be more useful with all the kb? I also like Whitecap but understand there was some disagreement on its actual usefulness early in release, is that still the case now that you've messed around with it a bit?
  2. I have! And it was nice to see that some movement was made because of the recycling aspect makes it easier. I also perused this forum back 8 pages or so and saw a lot of suggestions for completely new powersets which is what I was referencing in my OP. The recycling post is what made me think adding melee powersets to defender could work easier than developing a new archetype. It's also what made me think creating a new archetype with already developed powersets from controllers and corruptors would be easier to accomplish. Dominator is kind of a blaster controller mix, but assault is not the same as having dedicated ranged powers. Defender/Corruptor/Sentinel/Blaster sets combined with Controller or Dominator primaries is what I mean. Dual Pistols with Plant Control for one of my own character concept if I need to give specifics for clarification. And sure, I haven't been active on the forums much but socializing isn't quite my thing, which is probably why I have such severe altitus that I am bringing up these character creation shortfalls. Edit: Goodness trying to find a way to format this post on mobile has been such a hassle.

Not as demanding as coding a whole new powerset but I know it would still require some work, but a couple new archetypes to fit rolls/themes I think are missing is a Melee/Support (Could just make scrapper primary powersets available under Defender secondaries as it would still fit the "Defender" narrative) and Ranged DPS/CC. Controllers have support and Doms are more of a mixed bag. Could maybe give Controllers access to corruptor primaries but this one might just need it's own Archetype.

  5. See, I saw time crawl was a -regen but I guess it wouldn't be enough? Thank you, I'll check out this build tomorrow evening when I get back on my pc. Any particular style of play / general rotation(?) you or recommend for this build?
  6. Hey all, so I just got back into CoX this month and have missed this game so much. It's been a while however and I am just starting to realize how much I've forgotten. To get to the meat and potatoes, how viable is this combo at AV/GMs and ITF/LRSFs? What is the strengths? I'd assume melee debuffing would be preferred, but I read @Warlawk Time primer and @Bopper's Not A Guide and it seems I've just got myself all tangled up in information overload. Would building for AoE Procs hurt my debuffing ability? Would building for either procs or debuffing prevent perma-Chrono Shift? Would building for all of the above sacrifice def/res?
