@Cobalt Arachne Totally understand the logic. But as the Halloween window textures still exist in one building in Atlas, and are only active when the Halloween event kicks off, there must be some way to replicate that to many of the other residential buildings (like it used to be). If it's part of the automated Halloween event script for one building, theoretically it should be able to be applied to others, correct? I guess it's just a matter of the effort required to go in and add it. Not trying to be argumentative. Just discussing, and wondering how much effort it would be to make that change.

@The Curator @Cobalt Arachne Any chance you could patch the Halloween window decos back in on the residential buildings? ToT feels much more atmospheric in an environment with a Halloween theme. Thanks!

Looks like this request from last year wasn't implemented. Waited til night time. Windows in the same building in Atlas lit up with them. Nowhere else that I could find. Oh well...

@Cobalt Arachne Hey Cobalt! When I kicked off Tequila this morning, and there were no updates to the files, I figured that was a bad sign. As I had initially thought, the Halloween window decos in the residential buildings are not there, even with eternal night starting. Only three buildings in Atlas have them (same three that already had them before eternal night). Without the decos, the different maps look no different than they always do, except that it's always night. Doesn't give off the Halloween vibe. What would it take to add those back in? Not sure why they all disappeared in the first place. Thanks!

If I'm remembering correctly, I believe they showed up anytime at night, but now only a couple of buildings in Atlas still have the window decos. I just parked there yesterday for a few minutes to soak them in. They used to be all over the place in many of the maps. Just wondering why that changed, and if we can get them back. It's such a simple thing to have that really adds to the Halloween event atmosphere, and awesome during ToT. Screenshot I took yesterday in Atlas. So cool. 🙂

@Dacy @Cobalt Arachne Heya! Can we get some input on why the Halloween decos have been removed from the residential building windows (green lit windows with pumpkins, cats, bats etc)? That made it feel like Halloween in pretty much any zone you went to. Annnnnd....can we get them back please?! 🙂

When I started up tequila, there were no new files downloaded during validation. If the Halloween event started today, shouldn't the game files have been updated with the Halloween event material? **Never mind, the content seems to be there.** 🙂 @Cobalt Arachne What happened to the window halloween decos in the residential buildings?! That was a really cool part of the event, as it set the Halloween atmosphere.

I seem to remember seeing them last year, or I would have said something then. 🙂 I'm sure it wouldn't take much to get it corrected. Hopefully the Devs will respond with some insight.

There were a few buildings in Atlas...albeit very few.

I've been in Croatoa multiple times at night, and haven't seen any decos there. They did add new monsters that come out of the buildings while ToT. Maybe the coding got inadvertently changed somehow that is causing the shortage of window decos. Just spit-balling here of course. 🙂

There are some buildings I've seen with the window decos, but very few. Seems like a lot less than there used to be. And Croatoa of all places doesn't have any. I mean, that place screams Halloween. Should definitely be there. 🙂

Happy Halloween to everyone! It may be my imagination, but it seems like there are a lot less buildings with Halloween decorations in the windows this year. Not sure why that changed. I (and many others) love the window decorations. It's a huge part of what gives the game a Halloween atmosphere when you're running around trick or treating. Can something be done about this? 🙂 Thanks! Stephen
