  1. Fire control and Earth control are the best control wise for me, they have a really good targeted aoe stun with a short cooldown and decent radius which comes in handy to stun lock the enemies before immobilizing and dropping Bonfire/Earthquake on their feet for endless knockdown(you will need a KB/KD enhancement here), it is specially fun in TFs like ITF where the enemies come in waves. Plant control is great for DPS, the vines are awesome for crowds, the only downside being that it rellies on a narrow coned confuse as its main control power. Ice control is just as you said, it rellies a lot on your luck, you basically have to stay on melee and the fact that it doesn't have any decent hard control other than the hold, makes it less appealing, at least for me. I haven't played with the others, only Symphonic, but it had so many cones that i dropped it early on, despite the fact that it probably has the best DPS, for control, in general and Mind, which I played a lot on live, but sadly sleep has lost most of its appeal. As for the secondaries, i'm a bit biased to be honest, Drain Psyche is so overpowered that I don't even bother looking at the rest, it pretty much fixes every regen/recovery problem you may have and makes you an AV/GM killer, so I end up picking Psionic most of the time.

  2. Picking up Fold Space while skipping both Time Juncture and Distortion Field won't let you ever stay on Range, both TJ and DF help a lot as a soft control in this case. Slowed Response is fine as it is, at least for bosses and in an ideal fight, cause the recharge is pretty tight, I agree with the idea of using it as a proc bomb, you won't need that many slots and it has a pretty decent proc rate, taking TJ could indirectly fix the defenses for you because of the to hit debuff, but then you would have to test and see how your endurance recovery would fare, don't forget that Chrome Shift recovery buff only lasts 30 seconds.

  3. Here is my SS/Regen Brute, not the most damaging build, it is close to the HP cap with accolades/dull pain, I had to take any to hit debuff i could find specially since i still have to worry about my rage crash, and with this, it is somewhat manageable, I decided on going for Ageless Radial, it fixes any endurance problems i may have, increases my recharge and protects me from debuffs for a while, specially regen/def/recharge debuffs, these are all killer for /Regen. I remember people used to cycle between MoG, IH, hybrid and rune of protection back them to stay alive, i don't know how effective would that be now.

Here is one, soft capped melee defense, somewhat decent resistances and recharge(It is close to perma Hasten if you take Spiritual Core Paragon). A few things to note, regarding Rage, it is of your interest that you save Moment of Glory to when Rage crashes, otherwise you will probably die, specially if you are fighting an +4 AV(no amount of healing or regen will keep you alive against some of them), if you are having trouble with endurance, I recommend Ageless Radial, not Core, the Debuff Resistance can be pretty handy and it also gives some Recharge, if not, Barrier Core is the way to go(def/res).

  5. Hello! Coincidentaly i've also been looking for a Regen Scrapper to play with and made this Claws/Regen build today, I can't say i'm very experienced on both of them, honestly i've only made some testing in Dark Astoria(the level 54 area , i was 50(+1) at the time) and The Storm Palace(level 53) and it wasn't bad at all, although it still struggles a bit against Psionic Damage. I'm still trying to find a way to softcap my melee defenses, for now I could easily reach 45% with Barrier, but I don't want to depend on it. I'm also not sure how/where to use the ATOs, I left it on Shockwave purely for convenience and basically tried to find a way to slot as much Melee Defense as I could, without losing that much Recharge. Would love some feedback/critique on it too.

  6. It is fine as it is in my opinion, at least for farming, this a very well rounded build. Ageless Core on tier 4 should fix every endurance problems you may have(you also have Consume for an emergency), you could maybe lower the endurance drain by simply changing your Avalanche to one of your damage auras, it would at least halve their endurance costs, problem is, Spine Burst uses a LOT of endurance so it might not be worth it. I wouldn't consider to change it to Multistrike, you would lose recharge, a damage buff(which is kinda redundant if you use inspirations but still...) and the damage proc.

Also, when leveling up to 50, before respecing at 50, I had Spring Attack in my attack chain and enjoyed it. Maybe I can take off taunt to use spring attack, and maybe I can use temperature protection to replace vengeance (which is mostly just a LOTG placeholder anyways). Just need to free up slots to divide them around some.

I don't see how Sprint Attack would be useful in your case, you have more than enough powers and it also has a terrible cooldown for farming, also, Taunt is extremely useful for pulling enemies that are far away from you, it improves your clear speed significantly.

  7. In some S&L farms mobs have Build Up or even Defense Debuffs, both significantly increases their chances to hit you, which means you would, from time to time need a heal, Dull Pain, although decent, might not be enough everytime. I recommend you to look for a different S&L Farm until you find the perfect one for you, one without Build Up or Defense Debuffs. Other than that, there aren't many ways to fix it (not that I can think of anyway), you could try to find ways to raise your regen, preferably as close as you can get from to 2%HP/s, raising your Global Recharge to lower the cooldown on Dull Pain also helps a bit, Rebirth(Destiny Incarnate) is also an option but I think Ageless is a must have for your build isn't it?

  8. This thread is pretty old, I doubt whoever made it is still looking for a build but, @Mageman try this:

I made this build based on my personal experience on one of my tanks, which is also Fiery Aura and can do pretty much everything, I understand that brutes are a bit squishier than tanks because of the ATOs but I don't think you would find many problems with it. There weren't enough slots to raise the Psionic resistance without lowering the Recharge or Defenses, so I pretty much ignored it, but you can still manage to easily survive against Psi using your incarnates.

Anyway, I haven't had the chance to test it yet so I recommend you to try this build on Pineapple(test server) before you make it on Live as to avoid wasting money and to make the necessary changes(if there's any). Also, don't forget to try different incarantes, there are a lot of endurance sources there so I don't even know if Cardiac is needed, both Spiritual or Musculature could be an option too.

  9. I'm not really sure what you are looking for, but if it is ways to improve your character, there are plenty. First of all, honestly, you have WAY more powers than what you could possibly use, and because of the lack of slots they are underperforming. Also, your toon is a punching bag literally, it's lacking defenses, I understand that Electric Armor is a Resistance focused powerset but I recommend looking for ways to raise at least your melee defense through IO sets and/or Power Pools, it will increase your survivability significantly.

I've found this build in one of the Archives, it's kinda expensive, but it's very well rounded, it has a good balance of defenses/resistances/recharge, i'm sure you could make it more tankier with some changes at expense of recharge but i'll leave that up to you :p.

  10. Here's what I made up for you, budget doesn't seem to be a problem so I didn't hold back, I changed Pyre Mastery cause i don't see the point of it, Melt Armor cooldown is terrible and mobs die too quickly to make it useful, also Fire Ball's damage although higher than Ball Lightning or Electrifying Fences I would rather have 2 different powers with lower cooldowns, the reason is simple, it is better to spread the damage rather than having a "semi-nuke", especially for farming where the Mobs are always changing(Not entirely sure how to put this in words as my english isn't the best, hope you understand 😛).

As for Incarnates, on Alpha it will be either Musculature or Spiritual, it depends on how easy or the frequency that you reach the damage cap, on Destiny it's always Ageless for farming(on fiery aura toons obviously), it will fix any endurance problems you may ever have and easily give you perma hasten with this build.

As for the corcerns on Mocking Beratement I don't see any problems on it honestly (who doesn't like an easy and cheap way to raise your recharge by a reasonable amount and your fire defense?), you hardly ever use Consume after you get your Ageless, and when you do there are usually a lot of mobs around you, so it will fill your endurance regardless if you are using Efficacy Adapter(or whatever else could go there) or Mocking Beratement.

  11. Quote

    LFG Queue

    • The LFG queue will now wait until you have the Recommended number of players for a Trial or Task Force before teleporting you to the contact or mission if the league is not locked.
      • If the league is locked, Trials and Task Forces will continue to ignore the minimum players and start even solo. You can invite more players into the League once the Trial starts, but not to a Task Force.
      • Incarnate and Holiday Trials continue to always require the minimum number of players, whether the league is locked or not.
      • Incarnate trials will no longer automatically fail if a locked league drops below the minimum players. They will still fail if they drop below the minimum players in an unlocked league.
      • This setup is an attempt to satisfy both players who want to start Trials and Task Forces solo or with small teams (lock the league) and those who want to use the LFG queue to find teams for Trials and Task Forces (don't lock the league).

Loved this, are there any implemented filters on it? Or could it end up with 8 Blasters in a "public" group?
