  1. cloak of fear's knock protection is stupid. im just gonna say it. just make it work like any other toggle, i beg you. i think the -25% knockback strength is cool. you could even retrofit that knock protection onto a theoretical support set, but as it stands it's... obscenely clunky. i can't wait to get knocked by a level 50 Gold Bricker in Kallisti Wharf! at that point i'd rather just build like i have been, and find slots to make knockback protection. besides that, however. everything else is a good change! i have no complaints about the rest of these. i even like the rest of cloak of fear. please reconsider the way you are implementing knock protection.
  2. honestly i like all of these changes i just wish that elec armor had +maxhp to take real advantage of all of that regen it has? sitting close to or near base hp (about 500 extra on a scrapper or 800 on a brute/tank) doesn't have huge additive gains after a certain point? other wishlist item is reducing the cooldown on energize, but i'd personally do either one OR the other and not both of those changes. i'd also like for the set to have SOME resistance to fear/confuse? like maybe in grounded? besides that? no notes, this is a really solid set of changes. removes the need for tough on scrappers, the t9 is super usable in pve and pvp, i also like that power sink is now really takeable on most sets for the bonus regen, even if it's kind of unnecessary (again due to the aforementioned maxhp issue)
  3. i'm not disagreeing with you here, just adding a thought that someone might find worth their read: making powersets for people on everlasting (the unofficial roleplaying shard) is not going to appeal to people on excelsior (the unofficial not roleplaying shard); making ineffective sets for "theme" reasons rather than sets that have a clear, identifiable niche gives people reason to play it and consider it for certain powerset combinations. i was floating electric melee + psi armor until i actually looked at the numbers and realized i'd be better off on dark armor for control and survivability with mechanics very similar to psi armor's. it's bleak!
  4. no (listed) -defense resist on a set that can stack semi-meaningful def with a lethal hole masterful gambit, homecoming. (i hope this is erroneous) joking aside: i like the concepts this set brings to the table! sliding scale cooldowns based on the number of targets hit, interesting layered protections, a variety of buttons that (in theory) do good defensive things for you. but. this set has a lot of big problems that i literally can not overlook. there was a suggestion earlier in the thread that mentioned turning it into a maxhp/absorb DEFENSE set with precognition being a resist auto, which i think is probably the only way to salvage this without giving the entire set a complete facelift or gutting that lethal hole in favor of a smashing hole. there's a lot of cool ideas here but when i can confidently call a set the "ideas guy" set and not a set that's doing anything meaningful when compared to constituents like electric armor, dark armor, invuln, or even fiery aura? it's hard for me to justify using it from any standpoint that isn't a roleplaying perspective. psi armor needs a lot of love. also to answer "wait why are you comparing this to fiery aura" both sets are very squishy, but fiery aura offers +damage. psi armor offers a small chunk of -regen. rad armor and bio armor both offer significant sources of -regen (psi armor's is comparable, if superior by volume), but there's just one small issue. do you notice the -regen at all in general gameplay? during a PI radio does it come up? during a taskforce it can enable you to kill that AV 10 seconds faster. but as a "set gimmick" it's nothing really... impactful? it's not helping the set achieve a gameplan. i'm worried that this set will be forgotten about and ignored because it's technically usable in the same way that bean bag is technically a power you can take on assault rifle.
  5. i like talking in circles anyway the bases were really cool, i hope to see another event like this with a larger turnout from basebuilders, theres a lot of talented people who make some of the craziest bases i ever did see
  6. you keep mentioning a VOD, a "video on demand", so this was streamed to a platform like Twitch or YouTube can we get a link?
  7. got stuck in a doorway because babies cant walk through each other and they can trap you on the other side of the door reminded me of why i stopped playing with masterminds before yall fixed pet collision looks like im just not playin until the 2nd opinion on the update: funny for 5 minutes, then was just weird and a little disruptive (see: doorway situation)
  8. ahoy me hearties so; i deleted a character, yeah sure that's cool whatever. i do it all the time. after the patch on 1/21/2020 (M/D/Y), i deleted a character on page 2, in the 10th slot. this "deleted" my character on the first page, in the 6th slot as well. i hopped on a character and jumped back to my character selection screen, the character in question is back. you can see why this could be a potential problem if, say, the character does *not* return. the character i deleted was level 15, the character 'deleted' was level 50. level 15 was a SS/Rad Brute level 50 is a Dark Melee/Regen Brute XOXO, rwmagpie
