  1. My vote would be Everlasting.

Most roleplayers this side of the pond are already there and during our prime hours it still feels just as busy as Union was back on Live. You might struggle with group scheduling if you join an SG so the best bet is to just ask and find out if they cater to your timezone with earlier run content and such.

Alas going to bed at a sensible hour will always be the bane of roleplaying.

Warshades are just Nictus that've gone good and opted to be symbiotic instead of parasitic. They're basically 1:1 copies of the Goa'uld and Tok'ra from Stargate: Same creatures, different philosophies.

Just roll up a Warshade, swap to redside via Null, and create an appropriate backstory. BAM: Instant Nictus. It's what I did. I don't think we need to create a whole new Archetype, especially one that is essentially a slight recolor of an existing one at best.

I would, however, be all for allowing Warshades to start on red side fresh out of the gate with a new set of contacts with Nictus-centric storylines. Hell. If possible, for added flavor, have the AT name switch based on alignment: Heroes/Vigilantes are Warshades, Villains/Rogues are Nictus.

    Pretty much this.

Though unless it was fixed I'll add if you want to avoid having Shadowstar staring at you with disappointment each time you open your contacts list you might want to hammer out her story arcs before you switch.

But I'm all for redside PB/WS arcs and even blueside AS/AW arcs at that.

  3. Contact Name: Mr. Abernathy
    Faction: Sinister Squad
    Alignment: Villain or Rogue

Standing around a car park in downtown St. Martial is a weaselly looking man in a cheap suit with the unmistakable air of a door-to-door salesman. He blends in with the glum atmosphere of the Isles if not for the armed soldiers in orange jumpsuits flanking either side of him.

“Oh hello there… Are you here about the job posting? My employer is looking for some suitable muscle, the kind that doesn’t ask too many questions with a sprinkling of plausible deniability.”

He quickly scribbles something down on his clipboard then wipes the perspiration from his balding head, pocketing the handkerchief before returning his attention back to you with a quick adjustment of his glasses.

“Introductions… I am Mr Abernathy, I represent the interests of the Sinister Squad. At this moment we have a few operations underway with some dire need of a helping hand, your hands, so to speak. If you’re more the ‘puckish rogue’ type we have a job posting robbing Longbow… But if you’d prefer something a little more straight forward and well… Violent… We do have a demolition job targeting some of those pesky do-gooders who have set up shop here in the Isles… Now which takes your fancy, mm?”

    >Steal from Longbow (Arc ID: 39904)
    >Take Down the Heroes (Arc ID: 39905)

Bounty has been completed! Thank you to everyone who took part!

I replied to a post by highlighting the prejudicial attitude of telling support archetype players to find a big, strong non-support character to protect them rather than allowing them to use the same rules as other archetypes, and he/she, along with a dozen other people, deliberately misrepresented the analogy as an accusation of misogyny and inability on my part to distinguish between reality and video games, despite two separate sentences stating that it was only an example intended to emphasize that the attitude was similar, not that the poster was being misogynistic or that misogyny was being conducted in practice.  This lead to the discussion being side-tracked, then redirected by Kaiju.

    Different day, same shit.  👍

Awe poo that sucks, but totally understand.  But female faces and hairstyles for huge models could work enough for a huge muscular female that's just not big chested. lol

Like I said before I am 100% behind this.

My Villain Group needs a big muscular granny henchwoman who calls everyone poppet before coldcocking them through a brick wall.

  6. The team has already made efforts to allow other body types to use costume pieces originally locked to one or the other. Take the little animal friends that sit on the shoulder, originally that was Female only.

As for a Huge body type a little more on the feminine side? That would be a colossal undertaking if you mean an entirely new model.

However slapping some of the Female faces on Huge? If possible I could get behind that.

One peeve I haven't mentioned before is child characters. No, just no. Not now, not ever. It should be forbidden. I don't roleplay with them, I don't want to be near them, and I'll leave teams, drop from events, and remove chat channels to be away from them.

    Insufferable little brats, aren't they?

For me it's when someone feels the need to bring their child character to a conflict based event. It gets tiring having every misdeed your villain ever committed overshadowed by people obsessing over the fact they gave a runt who caber tossed an entire freaking car at them a bloody nose.

That and the weird fixation of making child characters drooling brainlets obsessed with cookies.

As a belated, quippy response to this, there's a reason why as soon as Jack Emmert left Cryptic Studios, they dropped a bridge on Statesman with extreme prejudice and had Posi step into his shoes.  The dev team wasn't any more immune to 'who gets to be Superman' drama than we are.

And then they planned to bring him back as Tyrant pulling a sneaky on us.

Glad we dodged that bullet... For now.
