  1. Howdy all! Yesterday I came up with an idea that would enhance some of the Archetypes to be a bit more useful, especially Masterminds as I feel they are lacking in powerset options and lack in many areas such as survivability and damage output, the goal is to bring them up to par with other AT's without making them too overpowered but at the same time fun and engaging with small mini mechanics attached to them, making them exclusive to certain AT's will make them more viable and engaging in my personal opinion, the OG developers attempted this with their "Booster Packs" that they sold, I want to expand this area into something bigger and better. The first pool powerset idea is called Necrotics, is based around collecting souls in order to achieve small benefits in the form of an aura that your T5 pet will have on them to buff you and your allies, the information are as follows: Necrotics Pool Powerset (Exclusive to Masterminds Only) Description: You are a master of Necromancy, you have learnt new and dark powers to torment the living, and summon the dead, you collect souls in order for your Iron Maiden to buff you while she cleaves through anything that is still breathing. T1 - Soul Reap - Slash your scythe in a cone Infront of you dealing minor damage but stacking souls. Melee (Cone), Minor DMG (Lethal), + 1 Soul, Foe -Accuracy T2 - Decrepify - Create a sigil in a designated area causing enemies to receive a random ailment for a short period of time. Ranged (Location AOE), Special (Chance for -ToHit, -DMG, -Heal, -Regen) *T3 - Transplant - You shed your mortal coil wading through the banished lands until you find a place to reanimate yourself into a new form. Ranged (Location), Self Teleport T4 - Decompose - You tear the flesh of an enemy to reveal their innards, slowly decomposing over time until they return to the dirt. Ranged Foe, -Speed, -Recharge, -Regen, -Defense, -Resistance T5 - Iron Maiden - You summon a big and powerful battle maiden from the bones of your enemies, she wields an axe that carves through her enemies all the while buffing her allies with the Souls you have collected. Summon Iron Maiden The Iron Maiden will have 3 main abilities with her battle axe, Chop, Gash and Axe Cyclone. Her other abilities are dependant on the souls you collect and will last for approximately 30 seconds unless you collect another soul, it is possible to maintain 4 stacks consistently through out a mission. Each Soul will create an aura around her and her allies and also give a specific buff to you and her allies, they are: Soul 1 - +Resistance Soul 2 - +Defense Soul 3 - +Regeneration Soul 4 - +Damage *The interesting thing about Transplant is that design-wise, it would not act the same way as the teleport we know, my idea which I have built and tested would be similar to that of the teleport in Champions Online where upon activation would make the player invisible, allow for maximum control within a short flight period and give the freedom to the player to move around before the power deactivating to the location you desire, this is very possible and achievable. This is just a rough idea that I have put together in the space of an hour, but I am hoping you get the gist of where I am going with this, I have many more planned and will share them in the coming days in the various forum sections that are applicable to them, feel free to share this with anyone you know and provide feedback, I'd love to hear what you guys think of this and hopefully the developers of Homecoming see this and feel inspired or at the very least intrigued!
