Playing an a Electric x3 sent (eventually electric x3 just a x2 atm). Bolts go buuuuurrrr. Make brain happy.

I'm new though I did play a while on Live back before shutdown, still its been so long I've forgotten just about everything when it comes to building, though that isn't new as I've always been a bit rubbish when it comes to builds, too many shiny things to click on! I thought I'd start with a concept first so I decided 'Alien bug' and figured I'd do Beam/Bio as that fits what I have in mind. Problem is, I have no idea where to start with this. I know I want hover (as I want flying for the theme anyway) but aside from that? Nada. I learn best when I see a build and after I play it a while I tend to make my own changes. What help I'm looking for is a build to get me off the ground to level to 50, and if possible one after that. I tend to solo mostly so I would want the build to reflect that. Any help would be welcome (powers to avoid, what ones would need to be focused on more).

At this rate I might have to go do the house chores I've been putting off...
