  1. Thank you for that. My psychic (mental) dom has a problem with quite a few maps on solo. Arachnos in particular seem to be rather immune. But yea, Like I said, I'm just looking for ideas, powersets, and builds that can experience the most content possible. I never said anything about soloing the highest-difficulty options. That would clearly restrict which content most builds can experience and trying to solo things at +4 is much tougher than -1.
  2. Indeed Vibal & Yobo. So my question is, do you all have favorite ATs and Powersets that allow you do all of that? Essentially, what are your best choices for being able to solo all of the content. Or, better yet builds you're willing to share? On the topic of difficulty, I'm not looking to ace everything on x8+4 or anything. I just want to see how much of the content in-game I can experience solo on one character.
  3. Well, I'm just hoping to hear from you all what builds YOU have found most usefull/successful in solo'ing the most amount of content possible. Which, I would imagine, would be those characters capable of tackling a variety of AVs since without that, one cannot solo task forces. Nearly any character can solo story arcs, though some a lot slower than others. Speed isn't my main question here, however. It's more of capability. Which ATs / powersets can take on the most content in the game solo. If possible, link builds as well 🙂
  4. Oooo...my main is an energy/invul sentinel. Maybe there's hope for me 🙂
  5. Ah... I think I need to clarify. In my humble opinion, nearly any class can solo most story arcs at default settings. But which class can solo the most content - i.e. task forces - which would require taking on full arch villains and the like? Since if one solo's a task force, that is likely to be the hardest part to get through as there's no way to turn off A/Vs in task forces. That's why I mentioned AV in my original post. Correct me if I'm wrong, but if one solo's a task force, they are facing AVs, right?
  6. Salutations. I'm curious to know what AT's and powersets you consider best for solo'ing as much of the content as possible, including AV's and the like. If you have links to full builds as well, that's much appreciated. Thank you!
  7. Salutations! Welcome to the Guild Of Organized Do-gooders (and evil-ers?) ! We have one of the larger guilds on Reunion (EU) server and are looking for more to fill out our ranks. We have a very active community, regular farming groups to help give you a boost, and people like me who pull together groups for Weekly Strike Targets and the bonus rewards they offer! If that's not enough, we have a coalition with other active super groups for even more excitement! We also have a discord community and jump into voice quite often to help out new players, offer advice, and coordinate group activities. Or, just talk about the game while we play! Like PvP? Your leader is a PvP savant, and would love to go a few rounds with ya! Like PvE? Come join me in some Ouro task force and let's earn some merit rewards while playing through key parts of the heroes' & villians' stories! So, what are you waiting for? PM me to find out how YOU can become G.O.O.D, today!! Phil aka JCServant / @wildlight on Reunion
  8. Salutations. I really enjoy doing story content, particularly through Ouro. However, as I played heroes and villains, I noticed a problem. At first, merit rewards for heroes are pretty scarce. By level 15, I had maybe a dozen. On the Villain side, I had over that amount by level 7. More concerning, however, was a huge shift in other directions starting around level 15 and going on for some while. I could spend two hours on my villains and maybe get 20 merit rewards. On my heroes, it wasn't unusual to walk away with 30 or 40. So, did some digging on the wiki, and put everything on a spreadsheet. Here's a summary of what I found. I did have not done the higher levels yet, but I can add those in if anyone wishes. Regardless, this surveys dozens of missions on both sides, and we see that the Red side averages 1 less reward per door on average. Now, I understand that not all doors are created equal. I have certainly done some doors that take a LOT longer than others. But unless the heroes' door missions take 30% longer on average than villains, this variance isn't justified. Villain players already have a hard enough time getting other players to join their ranks. If anything, Villain Merit rewards should be better to entice people to play Red Side more often, just like we do with double xp on slower servers. I suggest we increase the rewards, on average, by 1, 1.5 or even 2 per door to entice more people to engage in this content. If more research or detailed data is needed, I'm happy to assist. Thank you, Phil aka JCServant - @wildlight on Reunion
