  1. After so many years ... that's a wonderful moment. 
    I am proud and full of gratitude for all the players who managed to keep Paragon city alive. They have been struggling against many ennemies and traps for more than a decade.
    And now we are here with this incredible news.

    Maybe it could be even better, maybe its not perfect, maybe its not finished, but franckly, who would have bet on this a few years ago ? 

    All my gratitude to you, known and unknown heroes. And, at the moment it's fair to say thank you to NCSOFT, thank you guys for this present to the community of city of heroes fan.  We loved your game and we are still loving it 12 years after its commercial version was stopped.
    God bless you all, in a world who needs heroes and dreams more than ever.

  2. INCREDIBLE ! But so well deserved.

    An adventure of a decade to preserve Paragon and its heroes.
    All my gratitude to all the people who allowed that, and finally thanks to NCSOFT, I must admit that their position today worth it.

    Since its creation this game give us goosebumps, and its a neverending feeling. Woooo !!!

  3. Thanks for info. This badge is a pure nightmare.
    The event pop slowly and you can only get 3 ot those bosses, and around the map its so rare to see one of them. I ve killed hundreds of peons and lieut but none count. 
    Thanks for the tagged zones you shared, it helps but even whith that its a looooong farming time to reach to 100.

  4. Question concerning the tips mission "whispered rumors".
    Its said on the badge guide : "This Tip mission is part of the Halloween Event. It is dropped by defeating Trick or Treat enemies while in costume,"

    I've spend 1 hour in a league killing hundred of mobs and I still do not get this tip mission ready to be done in my contact/tip list. Is there something I am missing ?

    Well, why don't we copy the sentinels regen absorb shield ?
    You were just evocating it at the begining of your post. It's already in game, so its not a big thing to transfer it from sentinel to scrapper.

    Some adjustments on the % to find the good balance and its done. As this, it will bring "a bit" of mitigation damage to help regen set, without making it a monster that has to be nerf, and without transforming it into willpower or bio.

    I was happy to team with you for that video, and we had many occasions to do furious fight in this epic task force with 4*. I recommend it to anyone wanting to challenge his hero/vilain.

    Very good job, with all the comments you add to the video, for a first attempt making a video its already excellent . For sure it will help other players who like competitive content.

    To inform you that Gunslinger belt, on a Huge body character, does not size properly accordingly to Waist size.
    When I select the minimum size for Waist size, the Gunslinger belt remain at its original size, so the belt is not close to the sking but like levitating around the body of character.

    1. ill/energy/ice - I wasn't fan.  Energy's AOE is pretty lackluster and mobs tended to scatter because they didn't die quick enough.  Adding Flash back probably would've helped the scatter  but I probably still wouldn't have liked the combo.  This build would probably be better for content that prioritizes taking down single hard targets.
    2. ill/sonic/ice - This combo is pretty nice and had decent clear times due all the  -res being thrown around allowing PA to hit harder.  Sonic is a also very solid all around assault set.
    3. ill/martial/ice - My fave combo.  People poo poo on martial but it has good synergies with the right primaries and a decent build.  Mob scatter was greatly mitigated by the knockdown of dragon's tail with the slow of caltrops and sleet.  Dragon's tail's knockdown also helps with damage mitigation and frequently procs force feedback to help PA recharge faster.  Out of the three builds, this one was the quickest on average clearing missions.  If all you want to do is AV hunt then this would be the weakest of the three builds.

    Oedipus may I ask you to explain why you consider, lets say energy for example , as weaker ?
    When I look the stats it does tremendous damages and if I compare it to fire that you bring up in many pairing, I think that energy as a better damaging power on single targets. 
    So, I am questionning  myself.

  10. Hi guys,
    I was looking for the different costumes available in game with aether particles but its impossible to see them all.
    It should be much more smooth for players that we'll be able to check how it look like as we can do for our classic costumes in the costume creator interface.

    If its not possible , at least that we can have a database with all the screens.

  11. Hi guys , I've looked at some previous posts about parkour stance but did not see the problem I want to share with you.
    Here are 2 different malfunction I ve met while trying to experiment the parkour stance, a cool movement option that is unfortunately not working in many situations.

    1) Parkour stance and shield
    I was happy to test parkour stance with a shield character ...
    No way. You do not benefit from any parkour move if you get a shield. The only way is to turn off all your shield powers, and then you can run with a parkour stance, otherwise its auto canceled by the fact you have a shield on.

    It would be cool than selecting the "parkour stance" was really effective on your character even if he gets a shield power.

     

     

    2) Parkour stance and dual weapon 
    I use "parkour stance " on my  character :
    He run with the arms moving with this new stance, cool.
    But if I draw my swords while running, then suddenly my "parkour stance" turn into a "ninja stance". No more arms movement and the classical ninja stance with weapons in hand.  As a weapon character usually get them out, it implies that you can nearly never admire your parkour stance, and will see your toon in a sntandard ninja mode, wich render it useless to select parkour stance.

    In order to really benefit from this stance, it should not be affected by any weapon in hand.

    I know you've got a lot of work, but maybe one day this will be solved, for a more frequent appearance of this furious Parkour stance :)

    I 've checked today and the modification has been done.
    It is a very small correction I was asking for, nothing important for the gameplay but still , you've taken it in consideration !  Very high level of investment from you guys.

    Who doesnt know those missions does not know what mean beeing a hero :)

    Huge work of Linea to build a real nightmare for most of the players. I love this content wich provide a high level of challenge for us. 
    It's a kind of x-men danger room in my opinion :)

  14. Hi guys,

    Maybe a bug with "Cardiac radial Paragon" incarnate. I am testing it on two characters.

    1) Range bonus of 20% is not woring on all powers.
    I checked on 2 melee cone attacks : Frost (ice melee) and Cleave (axe)
    The bonus apply correctly on the range of Frost, but the range of Cleave remain unchanged.
    Both attacks are similar, melee with cone and same initial power range
    See the printscreen of both powers below.

    2) Cardiac Radial provide a 33% bonus on absorb.
    I noticed that nothing happen when I use  "Superior gauntlet fist / chance for absorb" gauntlet absorb proc.
    Not sure if it s a bug, maybe the bonus work only on real powers and not on proc effect ...
