I have a character that's inspired by black bolt in that she has no control over her dangerous sonic voice. I mostly write "/e signs <whatever she was going to say>" keeping phrases simple to communicate quickly. Or do my best to communicate what she wants "/e points to the bottle of Crown behind the bar and holds out two fingers horizontally. Then she makes a fist". if the bartender understands that she wants "two fingers of crown royal on the rocks", great. if not, she'll shrug and take the drink anyway. Being misunderstood is part of the fun of playing that character. if she makes friends with someone, she'll send them text messages via tells or team chats in a group.

I'm making a gang for my scenario and am having trouble with the tedious aspects of it. Namely I want the gang to have diverse members and not be simply clones of eachother. The only way I have found to do this is create identical enemies with the same name, powers, and other trappings and just change the skin tone, size, and little body shape aspects on them. Is there a way to implement some level of shortcut or randomization in this aspect so I don't drive myself nuts on this minutia?

I would really like a Mitre in the hat options. I have a few villain and character ideas that would look good with it. I dont' know how plausible it is, but sleeves without robes? I kind of want to do a simple choir robe but all the options look like a martial artist or some other complicated thing.

Nope. They don't show up in the list of available factions to make a list from. only in the list of available bosses. -

I found out that you can use mastermind capstone minions as bosses, but you can't put them in a custom enemy group or use the other ones as minions. For example: you can have a Demon Prince as a boss, but you can't have him be surrounded by demonlings. This is an outright injustice. -
The inciting incident is a zombie invasion of atlas park while a lich (as in the minion group boss, which you can apparently just use the capstone mastermind minions as bosses?) breaks into the magi vault (using Atlas Park - Time Capsule) to steal a book that was recovered from the Circle in the previous adventure ("The Angelo Custode Conspiracy" Arc ID:68851) The necromancer is ordering his cult to recover all copies of the book to be destroyed. Still building out what I want the final encounter to be, but stopping the books from being destroyed is the main goal.

I am working on creating an arch-villain for a short sub-arc between the major story arcs I'm building. The concept is that he's a lich that separated from the Circle of Thorns in pursuit of his own greater power and desire to become a deity in his own right. As far as powerset goes I'm still workshiping the idea of a Necromancer of Necromancers. Master of the flesh and the soul and here's what I have so far: Primary: Necromancy Secondary: Illusion Control Zombie Hoard Spectral Wounds Life Drain Phantom Army Grave Knight Spectral Terror Soul Extraction Phantasm Lich Powerscaling-wise, How is this for an Arch-Villain? Do you have any other sets recommendations for such a concept? What would be best way to encounter them? What map would be a good villainous lair?

I like knockback on sets with teleport attacks like Savage Melee for increased momentum in combat and keeping my brute fury up.

Missions that change the world state
SirArthurIV replied to SirArthurIV's topic in General Discussion
I always did the skulls one, but didn't know about the vahz one. I think it just removes them from certain areas but now I'll have to go and check. -
Is there a list of missions that you can do that change how your world generates? the easiest example i can think of is the arsonists in the parking lot of atlas park getting arrested after you finish Matthew Habashy's missions. and his wife showing up after you finish Aaron Thiery's.

I would look through the Circle of Thorns maps. There should be something in there worth looking at as they are all about the Atlantian aestetic. As for the other problem, the best advice I can offer is to chain them all together, but that can be a bit annoying as they won't spawn in a convenient location and you'll have to search for all of them with a lot of backtracking. Might work with a very small map, but I'd avoid that option.

Let's say I'm making a mission where you are rescuing a half dozen hostages. Foiling a kidnapping plot. And you want there to be dialogue for rescuing and interacting them that isn't identical to each other. How do you make that happen without having a sub-objective show up in the navigation for every single hostage?

Xenogears might make an interesting movie. Think: Star Wars with giant robots instead of jedi and lightsabers. Star Ocean 2nd Story might make an interesting TV series. I could totally watch a Legacy of Kain movie series. Blood Omen, Soul Reaver, Soul Reaver 2, and Defiance would make an AMAZING Quadrilogy.

Well I can't find the game anywhere. Could you theoretically run it off of a disc or virtual machine? If so I don't think it quite qualifies, Jt does look fun though. Space Trucking games are right up my alley and I'm always looking for a good one.
