  1. That was it EXACTLY! The bios was set on the motherboard(onboard) graphics engine(AMD) and the software was set to the Nvidia graphics proprietary card. I reset the bios. Great going Manga, Ive been playing the game for a month now! Thank you!
  2. That did it! Thank you, the bios is now inline with the hardware settings. Thank you so much.
  3. That was the trick Manga, the setting was on Dynamic(onboard graphics) while in conflict with the Nvidia settings. Now it all set, thank you for your guidance! I have been playing the game all night. Come look for Psi Nami sometime in-game and we'll do missions together or invite me to your supergroup!
  4. THAT DID IT!!!! I'M IN, I'M IN!!!! You were right about the bios settings creating a conflict!!!! Thank you both, SHORT GUY AND CAPTAIN FANTASTIC!!!! Without your suggestions and my persistence I would have NEVER gotten in, a million thank you guys!!!!!
  5. Ok, I just went into the bios and I noticed that the bios was set on Dynamic Graphics(onboard graphics), so I reset it to Discrete Graphics Device(Nvidia card). Now the GPU-Z said the OpenGL is loaded for the discrete card so this should work. Here goes!
  6. I don't know what to tell ya, short of going into the bios or going to Windows and manually looking for this Windows Basic Display Driver, I've done EVERYTHING and am still getting the error message.
  7. The GPU-Z reading look to be set with all the correct parameters. The Open GL is activated for the Nvidia card.
  8. Ok, I've downloaded GPU-Z and will run it looking for the AMD setting you were talking about for enabling OpenGL for the Nvidia card. I'll repost when that has been finished.
  9. For a minute the Loading.. splash screen hovered there and I thought " HOLY SHIT! THIS IS GOING TO WORK!" Then the error screen appeared again. I'll try the reboot and go into my bios and see if there is anything in those setting that might be doing it. Or I'll try putting everything back on the motherboard graphic driver(AMD onboard graphics) and try that with the City of Heroes app in my gaming setting for Windows. Its getting there guys thanks for your support and help with this problem. I really want this to work...
  10. I also changed all my display setting back for high performance Nvidia 3050 Ti card. Here goes!
  11. I have just place City of Heroes in the windows Custom Option for apps window and am going to reboot now, then I'll try the Homecoming start up again. Here goes!
  12. I've done those things as well, everything short of rebooting and going into the bios to check those setting as you suggested, still same error message.
  13. The very first thing I did was go to the manufacturer of my Lenovo and down load the most current drivers for the legion laptop. That didn't help, but I will revisit the solution through the Lenovo Vantage app, thank you !
