Eh, go crazy. Skip every melee attack, forget about all those toggles. Load up on Damage and Knockback. Lots of Knockback, coolest damage mitigation in the game. The melee toons will whine a bit but when don't they? -
Never waste slots mitigating KnockBack, ever. It is your best defensive tool. Other people may not like it. Ignore them.
