  1. OPENING NOTE: I'm not looking for purple set recs (casual players so stick with IOs, my inf can help fund alts as needed) Planning to respec my toon (lvl 37 now) to drop some powers I don't use and fix a few slotting things. Going drop Practiced Brawler to get Master Brawler again but not sure how to slot it. (Had it before and never used it, but didn't realize it made mez protection auto). Power Pools: Will keep Speed for Hasten, and take Flight for travel. Dropping Sorcery since I don't use any of the other powers I've picked up, so that leaves me a couple of powers slots - maybe TP for recall friend (probably not used a lot but would have been handy in the past). Any other thoughts? (Planning Psi Master for Epic Pools, if that matters any.)
  2. That happened to me last night - if you double click on "Homecoming", it will launch the game. I ran Tequila as administrator, and it stayed up long enough for me to launch the game. Didn't have any problems with crashing when I played today.
  3. At the suggestion of a friend, copied everything from the Torrent to Desktop (instead of directly in C drive) and it worked just fine. Hopefully it will stay fixed!
  4. (moving this out of Silk's installation thread) About to throw in the towel, too much work to get the game running when I don't have much time to play in the first place... Tequila is crashing when it is downloading the SCORE.EXE file. Any ideas? Running Win7 Pro 64-bit. Followed install directions and the game worked once but haven't been able to get it running since then. The COH file, Tequila and all are already exceptions in my AV. I have deleted Tequila and the registry keys multiple times, still crashes even with a fresh download of Tequila. Tried downloading Silk's SCORE file, but keep getting a permission error when moving the SCORE.EXE file into the folder (I'm already logged in at the administrator). Tried downloading Silk's Torrent set of files, completely deleted the previous install on my computer and copied everything from the Torrent, Tequila still crashes. Any last ideas before I give it all up? The program is working on my laptop but I don't like playing on that for long term, so if desktop isn't going to work, I'm moving on.
  5. Where did you put the game's folder? It's in the root C folder, set up like the guide instructions.
  6. I'll check, but I'm pretty sure that I saw a popup when I ran the game for the first time that the whole COH file was added as an exception in AV program. Try readding it, it happens sometimes you have to do this if that doesn't work try deleting the tequila key in the registry. Then when you start tequila again it should ask you for the install path again chose your game folder and see if that works. deleting Tequila registry settings with Start -> Find/Run -> REG DELETE HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Tequila Added the whole COH file to antivirus exception, and deleted Tequila/registry - downloaded fresh Tequila and ran it, went through validating the files, but still crashing about 95% through downloading the SCORE.EXE file. Any other suggestions? Download this archive, it's the score folder and score.exe from my game folder. Just use winrar or 7zip to open it and put the score folder and the score.exe in your game folder. https://ufile.io/art7wd5n About the throw in the towel on this - it's telling me I need admin permissions to save this file in the COH folder, even though I'm logged into the computer on the admin account. Is there a way to just uninstall eveyrthing (Tequile and all the COH files) and start from scratch? I want to play the game, but given the limited amount of time I have to actually play, this is more work than I have the patience for.

  9. It's the first time you install the game on your desktop? Where did you get the files from? Have you tried downloading the game files and score files from the torrent? No, I downloaded the client on the desktop yesterday and logged in with no problem once everything installed. But this morning, it started crashing. I don't have Torrent so not really sure how to get the files that way.
  10. Logged into the game last night for the first time on my desktop computer (wanted to make sure it worked, since I couldn't get the resolution right for my laptop), but now this morning, Tequila is crashing. Running Win7, Tequila opens and downloads a few files, but when it gets about 95% through downloading SCORE.EXE, the game crashes (tried multiple times, always crashes at the same place). Any ideas?
