  1. Love this. Any chance we could get the Flex from Tough or Blood Thirst from Savage Melee activation animations for Unstoppable as alternate FX options?
  2. The power icons for Practiced Brawler and Master Brawler should probably be switched around. Also, I think FupDup's idea of a having a lesser continual absorb built into the toggle would be awesome.
  3. Love these changes. Pretty cool design to have the strategic balance between crits and Vulnerability, depending on solo/team size and whether you're trying to take down one tough foe or a group. I do agree that the Opportunity proc could stand a buff of some sort now that you can only build it in combat.
  4. New Overload could use some +Recovery or +Regen, or perhaps some small across the board + Resist All. Or more radically, some Absorb as it says it absorbs damage in the current text but goes on to say that it actually increases Max Health. On my Sentinel, Stalker, and Scrapper, I am already at Max Health without Overload and my defenses are softcapped at 45%, so currently all it does is boost defenses for higher level encounters. While the same could be said of an Invul or Super Reflexes build, their T9s boost resists and regen/recovery respectively, while also boosting various debuff resists in Invul and granting max speed in SR. It would be preferable for the new Overload to offer some complimentary layer(s) of defense.

I'm sure it's been suggested before, probably multiple times, but I'd love some magnetism-themed sets. alloygray25 posted some suggestions back in 2019 that seemed pretty awesome for a blast set and an armor set. Magnets are cool in principle, but not only that, they have flexibility as a concept - could be a natural or mutant ability, or could be the product of science or technology. Also there's a lot of assets already in the game that suggest magnetic powers, which could possibly make development easier.
  6. Been looking at Sonic Manipulation, and in light of the new mechanics from Sonic Melee, I think there's room for improvement. My suggestion would be to move the -Res from Disruption Aura to Sound Barrier, ditch the Smash/Energy resist, and keep the Sleep resist and Absorb. Turn Disruption Aura into an Attune aura, doing minor DoT to nearby enemies and granting bonus damage from Sonic attacks (Sonic Thrust, Strident Echo, Deafening Wave, and Earsplitter). Also, although I think Sound Barrier's alright, Attenuation Signal would've been a cool name.

  7. Eh, I also find Concealment lackluster, mostly due to personally finding little value in out-of-combat defense. Threat reduction can be very useful, but it's situational and/or dependent on the archetype I'm playing. I suppose it differs according to people's play styles, and the content of the game is definitely a factor as well. Right now, if I'm discovered I just flee until I can stealth again or kill whichever mobs detected me; never been in a situation where I cannot flee and it's absolutely critical to remain undetected. I'm curious if the changes resulted in a noticeable increase in utilization by the playerbase? I like the idea of certain archetypes getting additional benefits from pools when it makes sense thematically and mechanically. I'd also never turn down a little extra energy/negative energy resist, and I do find the endurance costs too high. Most of all, I wish I could figure out a use for Phase Shift. Such a cool concept, but just not useful for anything I'd want to do. If it was like Shadow Meld but with a shorter uptime, then I'd be sold on the whole pool.
  8. I like the idea of having Unique Hami's, kinda wish there were Unique D-Syncs too. A Heal set with Interrupt Reduction, either as a Unique IO or as a set bonus, might be nice to help make the Medicine power pool more relevant.

I was working on a build and it led me to thinking that there's some niche ones that could benefit from new unique enhancements, i.e. 6% Resistance to Toxic a la Aegis or Impervium Armor, or set bonuses like % Defense to Toxic. Also, some more options for Accurate Defense and Accurate To-Hit Debuffs would be pretty cool. I'd love another -Res or Slow Resistance option, too.
