  1. 4.31% heal 7.5% endurance.  And no level makes no difference.

thank you for confirming that level makes no difference.  where are you seeing the 4.31% vs the 5.36% shown in Pines?  does that show in the in-game stats?  as I have never slotted a panacea, I haven't been able to check the power stat options in-game to compare to Pines

  2. may have found my answer, which always seems to happen after I ask the question  :)  if Pines builder is correct, panacea gives 5.36% +HP and 7.5% + Endo at level 10 and level 50.  finally figured out how to force a level 10 enhancement rather than the level 50 that was showing for all my build plans in Pines.

if that is correct, then panacea would most likely provide more benefit than a numina's if you have only 1 slot open.  according to Pines, numina's provides a constant 1 hp per second regeneration while panacea, at base HP on a blaster, provides a 65 HP heal on proc.  believe that can happen up to 3 times a minute so as long as it procs even once per minute, it is slightly better than numina's.

can anyone confirm above is correct or am I still missing a piece or two here.  which is very possible because some of the enhancement functionality is very confusing for me.  thanks for any assistance

  3. have searched these boards as well as google and cannot find an answer on whether enhancement level makes a difference on the +hp or + endurance the panacea proc provides.  the other procs in the heal series - numina's and miracle - state the % of regen or recovery provided and it's the same whether you slot a lvl 30 numinas or a lvl 50.  so I usually try to slot as close to 30 as I can and don't use attuned versions.

I know panacea heals a % of HPs, but doesn't say what that % is.  before I buy and slot level 10 standard versions or play with converting some low level panacea recipes I have found into the proc enhancement, would like to see if anyone can confirm whether the % stays the same from 10 - 50 or if it scales up slightly and it's better to try to get attuned versions

  4. thanks Redlynne

that makes sense but any idea why most of the builds I see in the forums, even some in your main thread for pre and post 24 huntsman builds, have the achilles proc in Surveillance?  I haven't seen any comments suggesting that may not be a good choice as it breaks what looks like a major benefit for the power.  possibly in teams it's fine, throw it on the boss after someone else has opened up on him so you don't eat the alpha strike in return?  but I solo a fair amount and would rather tag him with the debuff and then hit him and his friends with the rotation of WAWG, venom and frag.

for now anyway, will unslot it and test it our both ways.

  5. just hit level 28 with my huntsman.  took Surveillance and slotted in an achilles heal - res proc I had been saving.  almost all the builds I have seen posted in this forum show doing the same.  but it appears that using it breaks the non-agro of Surveillance which defeats a good portion or its functionality.

are people willing to trade off the additional -resist if it procs for breaking stealth or am I missing something here?

    thanks for any feedback

  6. do you have / be willing to share a mid's of your build?  sounds like exactly the Bane build I have been looking for.  have pieced a lot of it together using Spellward's build and your posts but would definitely be helpful to confirm.

Show me your build and I can optimize it for you.

building up cash and merits as this will be expensive but something to work towards.  appreciate any feedback, suggestions but goal is to remain at range so didn't take placate or any melee attacks other than a 1 slot shatter because I had to put something in that slot.  if I can't free up any enhancement slots to upgrade it a bit, would probably move it to 49 and the other powers up

  7. How do you get Mids' to recognize spines?  It says on the website that it goes up to issue 23 and spines is an issue 25 thing for brutes...

Unless I am totally missing something...

    ~Beorn

use the Pines builder, which picked up where Mids left off.  it shows issue 25 changes, including spines for brutes

  8. tried to log in this morning and see the servers are down.  checked in several other sections on the forums, like announcements, to see if there were any notes as to expected time frames, whether it's a patch or normal maintenance and not finding anything.  is this information posted somewhere in here ?

  9. I see a lot of builds that have both hover and combat jumping.  I thought turning one on toggled the other off, in which case, having both won't help to stack defense.  are people taking both just to have an extra slot for something like LotG that gives the recharge bonus regardless of whether the power is on or off?

  10. Thanks for all of the info guys. I did go with Beast/nature affinity. Currently lv38 and it seems to pair very well together.  Really enjoying it.

just started a beast/nature and only level 12 but enjoying it so far.  any update on how it is going for you?  would also appreciate any ideas or a Mids on how you slotted your powers, especially on the nature side - not seeing many guides to get some ideas on sets to use

  11. my thoughts:

if you are really dead-set on taking tactical training leadership, at least put the +perception proc in it. on my bane, where i regularly fight level 54 tsoo/BP/CoT in astoria, the only situation in which i have ever needed to use tactics was in PVP, and even then only for the +perception

build up ONLY needs the gaussian proc + one or two recharges to taste, you can get the set bonuses from gaussian elsewhere more effectively

six-slot tactical training maneuvers with reactive defences, you want the 8.75% recharge and 10% resist

five-slot heavy burst with superior spider's bite for the +10% recharge. you DEFINITELY want the global toxic proc as well as the 10% recharge

five-slot venom grenade with superior dominion of arachnos, you want the chance for -damage and terrorize

diamagnetic interface is not that good, take degenerative radial for the -max HP and toxic proc (which even fits thematically with SoA)

support hybrid is not that good because of the 50% uptime, take assault radial for the global doublehit proc

recall friend is ok but you can get 999 prestige teleport powers, get super jump instead so you have some actual vertical mobility

do you have / be willing to share a mid's of your build?  sounds like exactly the Bane build I have been looking for.  have pieced a lot of it together using Spellward's build and your posts but would definitely be helpful to confirm.
