  1. I would rather more sources of Max HP team buffs be added to the game before we remove the actual single only one beyond an incarnate power. I run into teams spamming absorb shields from Nature and Elec support sets more than I’ve had the issue of dealing with someone who has built for max HP while having Frostwork.

If the tanker or scrapper has a dull pain clone? Use it on one of the other 6 members of the team who don’t and likely aren’t built for max HP.

I understand if you’re running around with the passive accolades you’re already closing the gap to max HP, but removing things like frostwork now leave no option to even reach the cap now.

I think this could maybe be worth investigating; if Mental Blast were the t1 and Dominate Will were the t2, it would be better for proccing with a t2 standard 1.67 cast and 8 second recharge than it is as a t1. The longer cast would fit the animation better, too.

Mental Blast being the t1 and Will Dom returning to being a higher tier blast I think is the better solution as well. As it is right now even on Live I skip Mental Blast for Psionic Dart simply because it is better filler between my other attacks.

  3. Played with the Psi Blast (Blaster) changes for a bit as a Psi/Mental(my current main blaster live). Solo +1x8 Radios on various maps, here's my thoughts compared to Live.

Scramble Minds is great, could maybe be a shorter cast time like 1.67s to "feel" the best to use, 2s feels awkward with both of the animations.

Psionic Darts is a strange power to use, especially in my case. It basically entirely replaces Psychic Scream from /Mental, though I kind of figure that's the point since Blaster Psi Blast lost Psychic Scream and it got put into /Mental because of this, but it feels awkward now that Psi Blast effectively lost it's "T3" blast to be this power's original form's replacement and now there's a slight hole for ST on Blaster Psi Blast. Of course 200% global recharge(which is what I was testing with) generally solves this hole but I can see it feeling awkward for non-IO'd out setups.

Dominate Will is ok, but I as stated above I have a few hang-ups about it but the power is functional and works well enough, but it does feel strange that Psi Blast(Blaster) now sort of has a hole in it for harder-hitting ST damage.

Psionic Tornado is just better, feels great, plays great.

It was mostly just an observation.  From my experience, between 75% and 90% of people just don't have any fucks to give, so much so that it is likely how they got their "toxic" moniker in the first place.  Because of that, they probably wouldn't put forth the effort to pushback.  Not saying your story isn't genuine, just that some jerks will pester you for a session and you will rarely ever be the target since they're too busy thrusting their bullshit on whoever has their ire at the time.   Most jerks, though, just don't care or can't be bothered.

That’s fine. Sorry if I sounded aggressive too. I’ve just seen this thread necro’d by the same people multiple times because a few of them have an extreme victim complex and can’t figure out why people dislike their attitude and felt I had to speak my mind and my experiences with them.

I don’t often like posting on the forums primarily due to differing opinions, but I felt this was important.

That sounds like less than a handful of people.  I refuse to believe you're doing this for 20+ people over and over getting the same results for each of them unless they are creating alt accounts to interact with you which might mean there is someone(s) specifically targeting you which might be quite dangerous.

No clue where you got 20+ from, but yes it is about 4 people in my entire experience of Everlasting. I had a lot of interaction from two of them due to them having been in SGs I was also in. For one in particular instance, which I won’t name the players involved, whenever group content was done, if the slightest thing did not go their way they flipped out, screeched in team chat that we would fail miserably, quit, continued to send angry tells to the leader for nearly an hour, and then cry at the same time to another member about how unfair the leader is to try to get them to gang up on them. All this over the leader saying “Oh we don’t need a tanker for this we have plenty of support.”

I have long since ignored them on both of my accounts, but I also frequently see them posting about how cruel and mean people are to them on the forums and discord. I’ve joined many supergroups and coalitions that have had similar experiences with this player with similar results.

If there are some people who find our community to be unpleasant or even toxic, I think there's merit in examining their opinions.  Granted, it helps if they can express those opinions in ways which don't immediately feel like they're attacks, but I understand that can be very difficult when they felt attacked in the first place.

None of us are perfect, after all.  Some self reflection could be good for the soul.

While I understand that, the issue is that I gave a few of these people the benefit of the doubt half a dozen times each. They cried crocodile tears each and every time and continued their behavior sometimes minutes afterwards of getting pushback. Then again and again months, now nearly two years later they’ve still failed to reflect on themselves.

The tanker ones accomplish this well I think.  It increases their durability which is what you want for a tanker.

I think the controller ones are fine too honestly.  I've recently taken up controllers as a focus, and energy font is getting a bad image, you can definately tell when they are out in terms of controlling the mobs especially if you strategically slot it to where you get many rolls to get more than one out cause they stack.

I'd have to actually pay attention to the rest to base an opinion.  lol

The tanker Res proc does fit well, and the absorb shield is pretty handy if you slot it in a consistently proccing power (Such as Crushing Uppercut in StJ since you hold to use it with combo-points). But, there is the issue that the +Res proc can be kind of pointless depending on the Primary set being used. I think there should be a +Defense proc to go along with it for the sets that can't utilize the +Res.

On Controllers Energy Font just kind of...flails around and aggros extra mobs and/or dies unless you're using it in conjunction with your big recharge controls, which cuts into how often you can really use them. The only power I've consistently had more than 2 Fonts out at a time(The bare minimum before they actually become useful) with is Arctic Air, which is the only saving grace to the proc in my testing and experience. A better solution would be to instead of summoning a pet with the durability of tissue paper is to add something to the effect of Contaminate from Radiation Melee, anchoring the effects of the Font on a target that persists like toggle-debuffs on corpses in case the proc occurs on something like a minion, rather than an uncontrolled pet.

The Superior version does +21% DMG, stacks 3 times and has a PPM of 6 (in layman's terms: will go off everytime in your ST hold). It's closer to perma Rage than to a small red, and for free. This ATO is what enables (some) Dominators to deal Blaster level damage.

IMHO, the real problem with this IO lie in the animation time disparity in ST holds, and/or the discrepancy in which Dom powers you can slot Dom ATOs.

The issue is you're cheesing yourself out of actual damage trying to play upkeep the damage buff by having to spamming your ST hold to maintain that actual meaningful percent-damage increase. What good is Rage if the only two powers you can use in the set otherwise is Jab and Punch?

I don't see it. They let you get more crits, they're basically damage procs of another flavor. If anything they restrict how you should play your AT, since when they go off it means you have to avoid using any powers that don't get proper criticals to get the most use out of them.

It's literally the core feature of the AT, how is that "forcing you" to play a specific style? You should have not picked the Scrapper if you don't want to play the crit game. That aside, it's exceptionally easy to force out the Scrapper "free crits" proc using a number of powers across the different sets, any AoE with a moderately long recharge (Most higher-tiered power-picks in melee sets) will let you control activation of the critical mode to go ham thereafter.
