    Telekinesis as an Immobilize rather than a Hold will make the Controller a prime target. Soloing (and sometimes in groups) I use TK to push a portion of the mobs into a corner so they can simmer for later in the battle. Worse secondary effect, longer cooldown, shorter auto shut-off: who on earth was clamoring for this change?
