I just learned a few days ago that the "kiddo" bit comes up with other contacts as well, just not as often as Twinshot. I'm trying to remember, but I think it was Roy in Talos that used it.
According to the wiki—aside from Twinshot—Vagabond, Roy Cooling, Doc Delilah, and Johnny Sonata use the term.

He's on pre-order from McFarlane already, and is just a bit-part, workaday Kaiju. Not even a named part. He should call his agent.
Probably be sitting forlornly in a booth in London Comic Con in a couple years trying to tell people he's worked with James Gunn.
Yeah, it looked to me like a just-legally-distinct-enough version of not-Godzilla. Which makes sense for a bit part. Show the kaiju, show the city, and the audience immediately knows the stakes.

I'd love to see something done with Galaxy City. Back in the day, that's where I started all of my local characters. Atlas was for out-of-towners. But aside from the nostalgia factor, I agree there's no need to restore it as it once was. Funneling all the newbies into one place just makes more sense.
Instead, I'd like to see something more suited to higher level play. Especially level 40+. Lean into what the tutorial established about GC's destruction and make the restored zone a hazard area overrun with Shivans. Contacts and missions would be about clearing and restoring the zone.-

Took me around a year of playing the market to really grok that Luck Charms were no longer a big deal.

A few other metals that canonically exist in CoH:
Etherium (arcane salvage): Soft as cloth, this woven metal shimmers with a strange glow. It is almost as though it comes from another world entirely.Rikti Alloy (rare invention salvage): An alloy of Rikti metals, making for a lightweight, extremely durable, metal.
Ur-Metal (arcane salvage): This rare ore comes from mines in another dimension.
Orichalcum (arcane salvage) also exists in CoH but here it's a crystal rather than a metal.

I think that take is wrong. Yes, you want your game to be fun and interesting but balance is a part of that. If the game is too easy, or soul-crushingly difficult, that's a problem. If one particular class/archetype/build dominates play, or is utterly useless, that's a problem. Balance can be hard to define—and even if you could you'd never get it 100% right—but leaving it to chance certainly isn't doing yourself any favors.

I'm really disappointed that the first post in this thread wasn't just a picture of Snarky's back.

I was saying recast from day one. From what I read, Chadwick said to recast too.
But I remember LOTS AND LOTS of people saying how disrespectful it would be to recast a character. So much whining at the idea of recasting.
This drove me up the wall. After he died, I looked up Mr. Boseman's filmography. Before he took on the role of T'Challa, he played a whole host of characters including Thurgood Marshall and Jackie Robinson. From all appearances, he was a solid character actor and would almost certainly have endorsed "the show must go on".

The trailer certainly looks good. I'm hoping that means it is good and not that Marvel finally hired someone who knows how to make good trailers.

I don't know the numbers but it's definitely longer than 54 ft. I got sniped a couple of times when collecting exploration badges despite being above the nearby buildings when I passed by.

"Natural" isn't defined by training. It's defined what is normal for your species. In CoH lore, most people don't have psychic/psionic abilites. Hence they're a mutation. If you have different lore for your character, such that most humans have some level of psychic ability, then a natural origin would make sense.

I've found you can set your options and save to a file and load them up on every character so settings say the same regardless of which character you're playing...Can I do that for chat tabs? I want to set all of my chat channels the same and not have to figure out what I changed and re-do it for every character. Is that possible? If so, how do I do that?
Yes, you can. Just go to "Options", select the "Windows" tab, then scroll down to the bottom. The option you want is "Chat Settings > Save to default". Just set your chat up how you like it (or use a character where you already have) and hit save. Those settings will now be used on every new character. To add them to an already existing character, use the "load default" option.

I actually enjoyed Enterprise until the Alien Vampire Nazis.
I'm both saddened and relieved that I stopped watching Enterprise early enough that I have no idea what this is referring to.

My set up (windows 10, 64 bit) looks like the one Greycat posted. Except, in my case, keybinds are stored under "Settings > Live".

Miller took both of those and effectively turned them into ninja warriors, honing their bodies into ultimate fighting machines, supreme athletes to compliment their existing back storied powers.
I'm not a Daredevil fan, so I can't speak to him, but Batman was being presented as both a superb athlete and a master martial artist long before Frank Miller.
Out of Touch... where should I pick up?

I stopped collecting around the same time as you, so I don't have any current suggestions (Powers was awesome). Someone that might be of help is Casually Comics, a YouTube channel dedicated to all things comic book. Sasha has several videos where she talks about recent offerings. Or deep dives into classic old ones, if that's your thing.
