  1. So as the title says I just got my 1st 50 today he is an Energy/Thermal but I don't know what to do now. I know grind to unlock incarnates but as for refining a build via IOs and what incarnates to go for I am at a lost. Just so many options and don't know where to even begin. So any advice or suggested builds would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in Advance Solid Flame
  2. Hey I'm wanting to start either a Defender or Corruptor that uses Time manipulation with either radiation or Water Blast and was wanting some thoughts and opinions from the community as to with would be better. As well as any must have or suitable powers. Thanks in Advance.
  3. I have no interest in a Vanilla WoW reboot. Now if they did a reboot of The Burning Crusade that would be a different story.
  4. Haven't done /Atomic but hear you got to be really willing to hang out in the melee mosh pit. I have a /temporal at 38 and skipped the holds focusing on the recharge and sustain powers, but it has insane recharge. I have started referring to it as a Speed Lird he attacks so fast with DP.
  5. So decided to make my 1st Tanker and going to go Rad/Fire. So wondering if anyone has any builds or thoughts and suggestions on this combo.
  6. Working together as a team to maximize clear times a difficulty level isn't bad and can be a lot of fun. Dont have to do pulls and rebuffs before every pack, as that is boring and slow, but giving the tank 1 or 2 secs (that's really all it takes in this game) so you don't over pull agro and increase chances of multiple dirt naps/wipe is good. I run right behind the tank and then pause a second to pop BU while he starts punching and then jump in Nuke/AoE spam and dont pull more than a random Lt or 2. Need more challenge instead of playing recklessly just up the level adjustment of the mobs, increase the player multiplayer and/or check to throw some AVs in the mix.
  7. Hmm good thoughts I was thinking about going rad/spines but I know spines has crap for ST so was thinking of buying up the fighting tree hoping the damage boost that gives to boxing and kick will make them worthy of rounding out my ST attack chain for holding the attention of bosses and AVs.
  8. So generally play ranged DPS but looking to switch it up and try a meat shield on for size. Trying to decide on power sets and while I see lots of discussions on the defensive sets never see much about the pros and cons of the melee sets when relating to tanking. So I ask you what do you look for in a good tank secondary set? Fast attacks, AoEs, utility powers, and/or useful rider effects (-def, -res, knockdown, etc.)
  9. Yall make a strong case for Kels might have to alt one, do peacekeepers get the zone teleport too, or only warshades?
  10. So I stuck with him and have found some more fun and challenge with higher levels, now 34, and been jumping in with my nuke and targeting bosses for the anchor of my AoEs when clumped so I can easily go into ST on them while EC and BR recharge. I tried the pbAoE in time but found the radius small and the cast to be to slow to be of much use to me, feel it had my better bigger AoEs waiting to be used while I repositioned from using it and often not hitting much with it.

    /Atomic

Anyone got experience with this set and how it plays? Strengths and weaknesses? Seems beta decay could give some crazy recharge in groups.
  12. Yeah the DP/Time is going good but not a fan of the absorb on the sustain, always been more of a regen guy. So I made a fire/atomic I am toying with too, looking forward to what beta decay can do.
  13. I was contemplating going /mind instead of/time, for a couple extra AoEs the cone and pbAoE capstone. Time has me recharging so fast already wasn't sure I was going to need it, but maybe I need the variety.
  14. this was a poor choice of topic title for this question, but it sounds like you'd enjoy Dominator or a VEAT. With several exceptions, Defender and Corr action economy is often used on a debuff cycle at the beginning of combat that means you still sort of "stand back and do X," and then combat's over. VEATs, particularly Night Widows and certain Crabs, have a more involved cycle that requires mixed ranges and awareness of team position. Dominators need to use melee, range, and controls to get the most out of their class, and so have a multi-stage engagement process that can be very satisfying when it comes together. Can you tell me more about the VEATs like their strength and weaknesses or what resources they bring to a team? Or even better point me to such a resource?
  15. Just looking to maximize my usefulness to a team, while still being good at killing. I do really good at mowing down mobs for the team and dont see the melee abilities in /temporal really improving that when I already have almost 0 down in my attack cycle at 22 without hasten. Why I was asking about archetype suggestions that might achieve my goal with a higher difficulty level. Maybe there are other blaster combos to that might require a more active style while pursuing the goal of maximizing usefulness to the team, which in my book includes not over working others for little to no overall benefit to the team as a whole, again why I am asking for suggestions.
