Error message if server is busy, or am I doing something wrong?

Been getting the same issue for hours. My friend tried and got in on the first try. I'm not convinced I'm not doing something wrong. Update: I closed out of Tequila and when I opened it back up it spent a couple seconds validating and now I'm able to log in -
I can't even connect to the login server
